Two acid thickeners, ADMC and ADOM, were prepared by aqueous solution polymerization using acrylamide (AM) and methacryloyloxyethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (DMC) as raw materials, with or without the introduction of octadecyl polyoxyethylene ether methacrylate (OEMA). It was characterized by FTIR, H NMR, and the fluorescence spectra of pyrene. The double-layer thickening mechanism of ADOM was proved by comparing the thickening and rheological properties of ADMC and ADOM tested by a six-speed rotary viscometer and a HAKKE MARSIV rheometer during the acidification process.

Purpose: The risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) mortality in patients with localized prostate cancer (PCa) by risk stratification remains unclear. The aim of this study was to determine the risk of CVD death in patients with localized PCa by risk stratification.

Patients And Methods: Population-based study of 340,806 cases in the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database diagnosed with localized PCa between 2004 and 2016.

Background: Previous studies focused on the impact of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) risk factors in breast cancer patients with chemotherapy (CT) or radiotherapy (RT). This study aimed to identify the impact of tumor characteristics on CVD death in these patients.

Methods: Data of female breast cancer patients with CT or RT between 2004 and 2016 were included.

Objective: The study aimed to evaluate the non-cancer-specific death risk and identify the risk factors affecting the non-cancer-specific survival (NCSS) in patients with primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL).

Methods: This multi-center cohort study included 2497 patients with PCNSL in the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) database from 2007 to 2016, with a mean follow-up of 4.54 years.

Background: Cardiovascular death (CVD) in breast cancer patients without chemotherapy (CT) or (and) radiotherapy (RT) has not been studied yet. This study evaluates the correlation between breast cancer and CVD risk independent of chemotherapy or (and) radiotherapy.

Methods: Data of female breast cancer patients without receiving CT or RT were retrieved from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Result (SEER) database (2004-2015).
