C-reactive protein (CRP) acts as a biomarker reflecting different degrees of inflammation. Accumulating reports have suggested that there is a close relationship between CRP and various cancers. However, the influence of CRP on the development of tongue squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC) remains unclear.

miR-582-5p inhibits invasion and migration of salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma cells by targeting FOXC1.

Objective: Neurotropism of salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma (SACC) and pulmonary metastasis may lead to in treatment failure. miR-582-5p plays important roles in tumorigenesis, invasion and migration. Here, we aim to determine the effect of miR-582-5p and its role in SACC invasion and metastasis.

[An experimental study of intra-articular injection of NG-methyl-L-arginine for the treatment of indirect temporomandibular joint trauma in goats].

Purpose: To investigate the efficacy of NG-methyl-L-arginine(L-NMMA) for treatment of indirect temporomandibular joint trauma in goats.

Methods: Trauma to TMJ in 9 goats were exerted under an impact to the right and left mandibular angle with self-made device, L-NMMA (0.5 mL) were injected into the right TMJs after 3 hours, 7 days, 14 days, 21 days; the left TMJs were injected with normal saline and used as a control.
