This work describes a simple, inexpensive, and robust method to prepare a flexible "all in one" integrated hydrogel supercapacitors (HySCs). Preparing smart hydrogels with high electrical conductivity, ability to stretch significantly, and excellent mechanical properties is the last challenge for tailored wearable devices. In this paper, we employed a physical crosslinking process that involves consecutive freezing and thawing cycles to prepare a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-based hydrogel.

Developing a multifunctional gel architecture with superior ionic conductivity and good mechanical flexibility is a bottleneck to overcome. Herein, poly(vinyl alcohol)/sulfuric acid (PVA-HSO) hydrogels were prepared via a freeze-thaw method.

The morphology, mechanical properties, thermal stability, and electrical conductivity were investigated by means of several complementary techniques. The obtained results highlight the excellent features of the Cell/PANI-PAMPSA composite with respect to the Cell/PANI one.

Both periodontal disease and diabetes mellitus (DM) are important public health issues. Compared to the non-diabetic counterparts, diabetic patients more often suffer from dental problems, sometimes requiring fixed-dental prosthesis. Gingival inflammation and other forms of periodontal disease are the common complications of the dental prosthesis.

Ionic discrimination at the flag leaf, governed by differential expression of Na- and K-specific transporters/ion pumps, is associated with reduced spikelet sterility and reproductive stage salt tolerance. Reproductive stage salt tolerance is crucial in rice to guarantee yield under saline condition.

Bamboo is an economically important member of the grass family Poaceae, under the subfamily Bambusoideae. India has the second largest bamboo reserve in Asia after China.

Growth parameters like root length, shoot length and plant biomass were measured after 12 days of exposure to six different levels of saline solution (with electrical conductivity of 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 or 14 dS m (-1)). Genotypes showing significant interaction and differential response towards salinity were assessed at molecular level using 11 simple sequence repeats (SSR) markers, linked with salt tolerance quantitative trait loci.

The sample size was 200 respondents combined from the target and control areas. In the target area, twelve in-depth interviews and four focus group discussions were undertaken for knowledge dissemination.
