Background: Muscle stem cells (MuSCs) undergo numerous state transitions throughout life, which are critical for supporting normal muscle growth and regeneration. Epigenetic modifications in skeletal muscle play a significant role in influencing the niche and cellular states of MuSCs. Mixed-lineage leukemia 4 (Mll4) is a histone methyltransferase critical for activating the transcription of various target genes and is highly expressed in skeletal muscle.

Therefore, it is crucial to investigate the regulatory mechanisms governing the transition of MuSC states across different postnatal developmental stages.
Methods: To assess if myofiber-expressed Mll4 contributes to the maintenance of MuSCs, we crossed or mice to mice to generate myofiber-specific -deleted mice.

Cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) are currently of great interest for many applications, such as energy storage and nanocomposites, because of their natural abundance. A number of carbonization studies have reported abnormal graphitization behavior of CNCs, although cellulose is generally known as a precursor for hard carbon (nongraphitizable carbon). Herein, we report a spray-freeze-drying (SFD) method for CNCs and a subsequent carbonization study to ascertain the difference in the structural development between the amorphous and crystalline phases.

However, clinical trials of Zolgensma have raised two major concerns: insufficient therapeutic effects and adverse events. In a recent clinical trial, 30% of patients failed to achieve motor milestones despite pre-symptomatic treatment.

Notch signaling has been known to reserve a population of embryonic MPs during primary myogenesis by promoting cell cycle exit and suppressing premature differentiation. However, the roles of individual Notch receptors (Notch1-4) during embryonic/fetal myogenesis are still elusive.

Methods: The ISMS check-list derived from international/domestic standards was distributed to each hospital to complete and the staff of each hospital was interviewed. Information Security Indicator and Information Security Values were used to estimate the present security levels and evaluate the application of each hospital's current system.
