Aflatoxin Exposure-Caused Male Reproductive Toxicity: Molecular Mechanisms, Detoxification, and Future Directions.

Widespread endocrine disorders and infertility caused by environmental and food pollutants have drawn considerable global attention. Aflatoxins (AFTs), a prominent class of mycotoxins, are recognized as one of the key contributors to environmental and food contamination. Aflatoxin B (AFB) is the most potent and toxic pollutant among them and is known to cause multiple toxic effects, including neuro-, nephro-, hepato-, immune-, and genotoxicity.

Therapeutic effects of traditional Chinese medicine in patients with symptomatic cervical ectopy.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to evaluate the treatment and efficacy of Badushengjigao, a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formula, for symptomatic cervical ectopy.

Method: A patient self-selected two group comparison study was performed. One hundred patients with symptomatic cervical ectopy admitted to the Central Hospital of E-Zhou (Hubei, China) between July 2013 and July 2014 were enrolled in the study.
