Purpose: Intravitreal bevacizumab has been utilized to mitigate radiation retinopathy, yet the potential role of intravitreal melatonin for its prevention remains unexplored. This study aims to evaluate and compare the efficacy of intravitreal melatonin and bevacizumab in preventing radiation retinopathy in an experimental animal model.
Materials And Methods: Twelve healthy male New Zealand white rabbits ( = 24 eyes) received a single 3000 cGy irradiation dose in both eyes.
Objectives: Our aim was to evaluate the comparative effects of sertraline and vortioxetine against stress-induced brain injury in rats.
Methods: The rats were assigned to a nonstress group (NSG), stress-treated control (StC), sertraline + stress (SSt), and vortioxetine + stress (VSt) groups. Sertraline and vortioxetine (10 mg/kg) were given orally by gavage to the SSt and VSt groups.
Objective: Intracranial hemangiopericytomas (HPC) are rare tumors. Radiotherapy (RT) is frequently performed after surgery, depending on tumor size, location, and the type of resection. Moreover, RT is preferred as an effective treatment for local recurrence and metastasis.

Methods: A retrospective analysis of 44 patients with indolent OOLs treated with RT was conducted.
Results: Most patients (87%) had early-stage disease.
Purpose: Intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) is the standard treatment approach for nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC). IMRT enables effective sparing of the parotid glands and reduces the risk of xerostomia, a common complication of head and neck irradiation. Nevertheless, it is essential to determine whether the parotid-sparing IMRT (ps-IMRT) technique yields increased intra-/periparotid recurrence rates, which constitutes the main purpose of this study.

Methods: We conducted a population-based study using data from the Global Cancer Observatory (GLOBOCAN) 2022 and predicted global radiotherapy demands and workforce requirements in 2050.
Postmastectomy radiotherapy causes capsular contracture due to fibroproliferation of the capsular tissue around the implant. In fibrosis, unlike normal wound healing, structural and functional disorders are observed in the tissues caused by excessive/irregular accumulation of extracellular matrix proteins. It has been reported that transforming growth factor-β3 (TGF-β3) prevents and reverses fibrosis in various tissues or provides scarless healing with its antifibrotic effect.

This study is a quantitative research study (predictive modeling study) in which different treatment methods applied to bruxism patients are evaluated through artificial intelligence.
Materials And Methods: The study population comprised 102 participants with bruxism in three treatment groups: Manual therapy, Manual therapy and Kinesio Tape or Botulinum Toxin-A injection.
Uveal melanoma is the most common primary ocular tumor in adults. With the evidence demonstrating that episcleral plaque brachytherapy (EPB) has similar survival rates as enucleation in the Collaborative Ocular Melanoma Study (COMS), eye-sparing treatments have come to the fore today. External radiotherapy techniques (proton beam radiotherapy and stereotactic radiosurgery/fractionated stereotactic radiosurgery) are an important treatment option for globe-sparing treatments.

The ankle dorsiflexors (DFs) and plantarflexors (PFs) of children with CP are especially weak. Weakness in the ankle muscles causes problems in functional skills, mobility, and balance in spastic CP (SCP).

Nutrients and food supplements frequently used in the surgical period may cause complications and side effects. This study was conducted to determine the level of knowledge about sixty-one nutrients and food supplements among doctors and nurses working in surgical clinics.

Materials And Methods: Sixty-three cases with H&N paragangliomas received definitive SRT and were evaluated retrospectively.
Objectives: This study aims to examine the treatment outcomes and related factors in locally advanced sinonasal cancer across Turkiye.
Methods: Twelve centers participants of the Turkish Society for Radiation Oncology Head and Neck Study Group attended the study. One hundred and ninety-four patients treated with intensity-modulated radiation therapy between 2001 and 2021 were analyzed retrospectively.
Purpose: We aimed to evaluate the prognostic factors and the role of stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT) as a re-irradiation technique in the management of progressive glioblastoma.
Methods: The records of 77 previously irradiated glioblastoma patients who progressed and received second course hypofractionated SRT (1-5 fractions) between 2009 and 2022 in our department were evaluated retrospectively. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23.
Purpose: We aimed to investigate the patterns of radiotherapy (RT) care in cases of benign diseases in Turkey.
Methods: A questionnaire survey was sent to all radiation oncology (RO) departments in Turkey. The number of patients treated for benign disease between 2015 and 2020 was requested.
Objective: This study aims to investigate possible preventive effect of ATP on optic nerve damage caused by amiodarone in rats.
Material And Method: Thirty albino male Wistar rats weighing between 265 and 278 g were used in the study. Before the experiment, the rats were housed at 22 °C in a 12-h light/dark cycle under appropriate condition.
