Objective: Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) is an established treatment for intracranial meningioma, yet this approach is often precluded by tumor size or proximity to critical structures. Bacterial spinal epidural abscess (SEA) is a rare suppurative infection that commonly presents with nonspecific symptoms along with the infrequent triad of fever, back pain, and neurological deficits. Risk factors include diabetes mellitus, intravenous drug use, degenerative disc disease, infection with human immunodeficiency virus, and recent trauma or surgery. Patients with SEA often experience poor outcomes such as permanent neurological deficits, residual motor weakness, and even death.

Approach to pediatric rotational limb deformities.

In-toeing specifically is a common anatomic structural variation encountered by pediatric primary care providers and pediatric orthopedic specialists and may be accentuated between six months and five years during which children are developing their coordination skills.

Atypical femoral fracture in the setting of alendronate treatment for osteoporosis: a case report and literature review.

Severe cytopenias (anemia, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia or any combination of these) are common causes of ER visits and hospital admissions. In adults, the etiology of cytopenias has a broad differential diagnosis including vitamin and mineral deficiencies, autoimmune conditions, infections, bone marrow failure disorders, or malignancies. We present a case of severe anemia and thrombocytopenia who was initially diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) based on the results of a bone marrow biopsy.
