Background: Endometriosis, a prevalent chronic gynecologic disorder, significantly impacts women's health, with both genetic and environmental factors contributing to its heritability. Within the adaptive immune system, the NOD-like receptors (NLR) pathway plays pivotal roles in various autoinflammatory diseases, regulating interleukins, proinflammatory cytokines, and NF-κB activity. However, the potential association between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the NOD1, NOD2, PYDC1, and PYDC2 genes and the predisposition to endometriosis risk remains unexplored.

Background/aim: Menopause is often accompanied by neurological symptoms, including cognitive difficulties, especially with memory and attention. The purpose of the present study was to examine the relationship between the timing of menopause and the cognitive performance of menopausal patients who applied to our neurology clinic with complaints of forgetfulness.
Materials And Methods: The data of 538 women who applied to the neurology clinic with complaints of forgetfulness between January 2018 and January 2024 and underwent neuropsychological evaluations were scanned retrospectively.
The Epigravettian human remains from Riparo Tagliente in northern Italy represent some of the earliest evidence of human occupation in the southern Alpine slopes after the Last Glacial Maximum. Genomic analyses of the 17,000-year-old Tagliente 2 mandible revealed the oldest presence of a genetic profile with affinities to the Near East in the Italian peninsula, which later became the most widespread hunter-gatherer ancestry across Europe. However, a comparable biomolecular characterization of the Tagliente 1 burial remains unavailable, preventing us from defining its biological relationships with Tagliente 2.

The structure of AQNQ and its interaction with Cu forming an unusual AQNQ-Cu complex were enlightened with single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and different spectroscopic methods. AQNQ-Cu complex is the first Cu containing dinuclear crystal where the octahedral coordination sphere is fulfilled through the coordination of a NQ oxygen atom.

Objective: The aim of this study is to examine whether there is a synergistic relationship between the diaphragm and pelvic floor muscles (PFM) in pregnant women.
Material And Methods: Our study was carried out as a cross-sectional study in primigravid pregnants in the second and third trimesters. Superficial electromyography (EMG), 2D/3D ultrasonography (USG), pulmonary function test (PFT), PERFECT, maximum expiratory pressure (MEP) and inspiratory pressure (MIP) measurements were used to evaluate pelvic floor and diaphragm muscle functions during pregnancy.
