The huge demands for petrochemicals have led to a rapid increase in the production of these fossil-based derivatives. Biomass represents a promising feedstock for addressing the challenges related to petrochemicals in terms of the necessity to apply renewable sources and the need to decrease carbon emissions. Among the natural biomass products, most studies have attempted to upgrade natural oils owing to their promising advantages of worldwide availability, low-cost processing, and built-in functionality.

Saponin from extract acted as a surfactant in CaO extraction and transformation into well-defined cubic microcrystallites. The application of saponin from extract as a surfactant for CaO production results in a high level of CaO purity and particle size reduction compared to directly calcined limestone (CaO-MgO).

() frequently causes biofilm-related infections associated with ventilator tubing. Glucosamine gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) may exhibit antibiofilm properties; however, more studies, including combinatorial therapy with antibiotics, are needed to explore their potential applications in clinical settings.

The synthesis of silica gel was carried out using alkaline fusion followed by sol-gel reactions. The chemical glass bottle container was made from borosilicate glass which was different from glass bottles for food and beverage that has been studied in previous studies.

Chitosan (CS), an organic polymer, was blended with polyethylene oxide (PEO) to enhance its electrochemical properties. However, SPEs based on CS/PEO composites have low conductivity.

In the present study, some elements such as boron, nitrogen, sulfur, and phosphor were intentionally doped into citric acid-based carbon dots by furnace- and microwave-assisted direct and simple carbonization processes. The process produced nanoparticles with an average diameter of 5-9 nm with heteroatoms (B, N, S, and P) placed on the core and surface of carbon dots.
