Introduction: This study examined factors that affected sentinel lymph node (SLN) identification of patients with endometrial cancer having a preoperative estimation of low recurrent risk.
Methods: This study included 97 patients with endometrial cancer who attempted to identify SLN using a uterine cervical injection of technetium-99 m phytate under laparoscopic or robotic-assisted surgery at our institute. A preoperative single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) and intraoperative gamma probe were used to detect hot nodes.

Methods: A prospective study with a 1-year follow-up was conducted. A total of 104 patients (160 eyes) with FECD and an equivalent number of age- and sex-matched control subjects without FECD were included.
Steroid usage poses a risk of Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI), but high-dose corticosteroid treatment can lead to false-negative CD toxin test results. Moreover, CDI-induced nausea can complicate administration of oral antibiotics, which are typically the primary therapy for CDI. In the present case, a 43-year-old woman diagnosed with EBV-associated T-cell post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder developed CDI during treatment with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisolone (CHOP).

Approximately 30-40% of malignant lymphomas are classified as diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), with 30% of DLBCL cases manifesting as extranodal lymphomas. Among these extranodal DLBCLs, primary DLBCL in oral lesions, particularly in the lips, is rare. While the treatment methods, chemotherapy assessment, and prognosis for nodal and extranodal DLBCLs are generally similar, diagnostic challenges can lead to delayed therapeutic intervention.
