In order to improve the diagnostic accuracy and treatment strategy for small bowel obstruction, we developed a non-emergency small bowel obstruction scoring system (0-4). We performed a retrospective analysis on 94 patients diagnosed with mechanical small bowel obstruction at our hospital.
