Oleic acid/3-[(3-cholamidopropyl)dimethylammonio]-2-hydroxypropane sulfonate (OA/CHAPSO) bicellar mixtures are potential functional membrane materials. The lipid transfer during the formation of these bicellar mixtures was evaluated.
