Introduction: inferior vena cava IVC injury is rare with lethal outcomes, the clinical signs depends on the location and associated injuries, andt he treatment might be endovascular, surgical.

Clinical Case: A 25 years with no medical history was admitted to the emergency department after a car accident. After intubation and hemodynamic stabilization, the computerized tomography CT scan showed hepatic laceration with a rupture of the IVC in the retro-hepatic portion, he was admitted to the operation room for damage control laparotomy; the patient died 12 h after the operation despite appropriate management.

This latter might occur spontaneously or post-traumatic, and it might manifest with an anaphylactic shock, a life-threatening situation.

Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is an acute peripheral neuropathy that manifests with ascending symmetrical and progressive weakness or paralysis with the absence of reflexes. The incidence of this syndrome in pregnancy and postpartum periods is similar to the general population; however, few published clinical cases have been described. Here, we report the case of a 26-year-old patient who developed GBS with respiratory distress two weeks after her baby's delivery that required long-term mechanical ventilation.

Osler-Weber-Rendu disease (OWRD), called hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, is an uncommon genetic illness with the dominant autosomal transmission.
