Background: One of the main causes of cancer-related deaths is breast cancer. Fascin-1(FSCN1) is an actin-binding protein that is present in the mesenchymal, neuronal, and endothelial cells of mammals. Patients with breast cancer have been found to have FSCN1 overexpression.

The goal of this work was to synthesize Balanites aegyptiaca oil-silver nanoparticles (BAO-Ag-NPs) and evaluate their cardioprotective effect against ISO-induced myocardial infarction in rats, as well as their mechanism.
Materials And Methods: BAO was isolated, and the unsaturated fatty acids were estimated.
Objectives: Nanoparticles can be employed to improve the therapeutic activity of natural products. Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a serious health condition that has spread like a "modern pandemic" worldwide. In the present study, we developed silver nanoparticles, Ag-NPs, with an aqueous extract from to investigate their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity in STZ-induced diabetic rats.

With regard to glycemic, inflammatory, and redox factors, the current study sought to evaluate the association between the expression of the vanin-1 gene, oxidative stress, and inflammatory and iNOS signaling pathway in obese diabetic patients.
Methods: We enrolled 67 male subjects with an average age of 53.

This record study aimed to investigate the prevalence of metabolic syndrome (MetS) profiles regarding sex, age, and obesity for the riskier factor of cardiovascular diseases in a general population in Saudi Arabia. Laboratory and anthropometric measurements were performed on non-specific participants with variant ages and BMI in either sex. Serobiochemical changes were measured for metabolic profiles, i.

E-G-Ppy NPs and gold-polypyrrole NPs (G-Ppy NPs) were synthesized, characterized, and formulated in topical hydrogels. Then, in vivo trans-epidermal permeation study, under both dark and white light-irradiation conditions, was done on albino mice.

One of the most believable approaches is the operation of supercritical carbon dioxide fluid (SC-CO). This operation has been used as a unique method in pharmacology due to the brilliant positive points such as colorless nature, cost-effectives, and environmentally friendly.

Method: This was a prospective, observational, cohort study, conducted in a medical referral center specializing in management of COVID-19 cases. Patients were divided into two groups according to infection severity (mild and severe).
Background: Coronavirus-19 (COVID-19) pandemic is a worldwide public health problem that has been known in China since December 25, 2019. Phospholipids are structural components of the mammalian cytoskeleton and cell membranes. They suppress viral attachment to the plasma membrane and subsequent replication in lung cells.

Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic widely used against infections caused by Gram-negative microorganisms. Nephrotoxicity is the main limitation to its therapeutic use. The objective of this study was to evaluate the potential protective effect of astaxanthin on the renal damage generated by gentamicin in rats, in an attempt to understand its mechanism of action, which may pave the way for possible therapeutic applications.
