Patients And Methods: This study examined laparoscopic cholecystectomy patients aged 18-60 years with an American Society of Anesthesiologist score of 1-2. This study divided patients into Group 1 for SubTAP block and Group 2 for intravenous analgesia.
Multi-modal analgesic strategies, including regional anesthesia techniques, have been shown to contribute to a reduction in the use of opioids and associated side effects in the perioperative setting. Consequently, those so-called multi-modal approaches are recommended and have become the state of the art in perioperative medicine. In the majority of intensive care units (ICUs), however, mono-modal opioid-based analgesic strategies are still the standard of care.

Objective: Postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) is one of the most common complications in elderly surgical patients. We conducted a survey study to evaluate the perspectives of Turkish anaesthesiologists on postoperative cognitive disorders.
Methods: We conducted a prospective online survey with questions and answers were recorded either in a Likert scale from 1 to 5 (completely disagree to completely agree) or as yes/no/do not know types of answers.
BACKGROUND Epiduroscopy is commonly used for the evaluation and treatment of low back pain.
