A Rare Case of Guillain-Barré Syndrome following COVID-19 Vaccination.

Unlabelled: Various vaccines against COVID-19 have been developed since SARS-CoV-2 emerged at the end of 2019. Their emergency administration in healthcare settings has been accompanied by numerous adverse effects. A case of Guillain-Barré syndrome following vaccination with Covishield is presented here to highlight this possible adverse condition.

Acute Necrotizing Pancreatitis with Cystic Lesion Concomitant with SARS-CoV-2.

Unlabelled: SARS-CoV-2 causes severe acute respiratory distress and other clinical complications such as thromboembolic events and gastrointestinal tract disorders, which generally present with abdominal pain. In the case report, we describe a patient who had severe viral necrotizing pancreatitis associated with COVID-19 infection.

Learning Points: In patients with COVID-19, gastrointestinal symptoms should raise suspicion of pancreatitis and additional evaluation should be carried out.

Unlabelled: The prevalence of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in COVID-19 patients is higher than in non-COVID-19 patients. Since the beginning of the pandemic, deep vein thrombosis, myocardial infarction, ischaemic stroke and pulmonary embolism (PE) have been reported in patients with COVID-19. D-dimer levels are now routinely measured in hospitalized patients so that prophylaxis can be initiated.
