Background And Objective: Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is a pernicious tumor with high incidence and mortality rates. The incidence rate of NSCLC increases with age and poses a serious danger to human health. The aim of this study was to determine the mechanism by which (-)-epicatechin (EC) alleviates NSCLC.

Delayed wound healing severely affects the quality of life of patients and represents a significant economic burden for public health systems worldwide. Therefore, there is an urgent need for the development of novel wound dressings that can efficiently resist drug-resistant bacteria and have superior wound repair capabilities in clinical applications.

Recent studies have revealed that CD47 is a highly expressed anti-phagocytic signal in several types of cancer, and therefore, blocking of CD47 has shown an effective therapeutic potential in cancer immunotherapy. In addition, CD47 has been found to be involved in a complex interplay with microglia and other types of cells, and increasing evidence indicates that CD47 can be targeted as part of immune modulatory strategies for non-neoplastic diseases as well.
