The distribution of electrical potentials and current in exogenous electrostimulation has significant impacts on its effectiveness in promoting tissue repair. However, there is still a lack of a flexible, implantable power source capable of generating customizable patterned electric fields for in situ electrostimulation(electrical stimulation). Herein, this study reports a fuel cell patch (FCP) that can provide in situ electrostimulation and a hypoxic microenvironment to promote tissue repair synergistically.

The trade-off between mobility and stability is the main problem for amorphous oxide semiconductor (AOS) thin-film transistors (TFTs). In this work, a high-mobility and good-photostability Tb-doped indium-tin-zinc oxide (Tb:ITZO) AOS is studied. The ITZO TFT without Tb doping had a mobility of as high as 49.

Within this framework, we report the synthesis of Nb-doped NiFe-layered double hydroxides (Nb/NiFe-LDH) a straightforward one-step hydrothermal approach. Notably, Nb doping maintained the structural integrity of the NiFe-LDH framework and it enhanced the valence state of the active Ni species during the electrochemical activation process, which accelerated the concomitant reconstruction kinetics of the LDH phase.

However, the insufficient co-stimulating molecules and loss of peptide-major histocompatibility complex I (MHC-I) expression on tumor cells lead to poor therapy of sonoimmunotherapies. Herein, this work develops a sonosensitive system to augment MHC-I unrestricted natural killer (NK) cell-mediated innate immunity and T cell-mediated adaptive immunity by leveraging antigen presentation cell (APC)-like tumor cells.

However, conventional fluorescent COFs often suffer from weak fluorescence due to aggregation-caused quenching (ACQ), limiting their utility. Given the critical need for highly efficient and sensitive biosensing tools, herein, we propose an aggregation-induced emission (AIE) COF, named COF-Bpy, with the quantum yield up to 25%.

Over a 3-month follow-up, 1,385 healthy young men provided 3,550 urine samples and 6,466 semen samples, which were determined for urinary OPE metabolite concentrations, sperm quality parameters, and sperm mitochondrial DNA copy number (mtDNAcn). Linear mixed models revealed inverse associations between diphenyl phosphate (DPHP) concentrations and sperm concentration [-3.

Methods: In this ambispective study, 714 patients with SFTS were recruited from 11 sites in China.
Background And Aims: T lymphocytes play a pivotal role in resolving hepatitis B virus infection. This study aimed to investigate the dynamics of peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets during peginterferon alpha (peg-IFN-α) therapy and their association with hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) clearance in inactive HBsAg carriers (IHCs).
Methods: This prospective observational study enrolled 197 IHCs treated with peg-IFNα-2a/2b for 48 weeks and followed for 24 weeks (treatment group), and 221 IHCs who were regularly monitored for 72 weeks without treatment (IHC control group).
Tumor metastasis is an important reason for the poor prognosis and high mortality in cancer patients. As major component of stromal cells in tumor microenvironment, cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) secreted various factors to promote tumor metastasis. Studies have indicated that endogenous direct current electric field (dcEF) around tumor tissue induced directional migration of cancer cells.

We focus on the EncephalApp Stroop test which is an innovative, smartphone-based tool specifically designed for screening minimal hepatic encephalopathy (MHE) in cirrhosis patients. Traditional MHE screening methods, while highly sensitive and specific, are often complex, time-consuming, and require controlled environmental conditions, limiting their widespread clinical use.

However, in recent years, research on the potential association between infection and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) has been scarce. This large-scale multicenter study, covering more than 360 hospitals across 26 medical systems in the United States, systematically evaluated the association between infection and MASH.

Herein, a thermodynamically driven surface reaction and confined crystallization process is reported to synthesize a centimeter-scale supercontinuous ZrO nanolayer on ZrO-SiO fiber aerogel surface, which significantly improved its thermal and mechanical properties with density almost unchanged (≈26 mg cm). Systematic structure analysis confirms that the supercontinuous layer achieves a close connection between grains and fibers through Zr─O─Si bonds.

Necroptosis is a distinct form of regulated cell death that differs from both necrosis and apoptosis. Understanding the role of necroptosis during PC progression would open new avenues for targeted therapy.

Chemotherapy remains the primary treatment for TNBC after surgery ablation, but it lacks targeted specificity and causes side effects in normal tissues. Receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 1 (ROR1) is significantly expressed in TNBC cells, and small interference RNA (siRNA) targeting ROR1 can effectively suppress ROR1 gene expression, thereby inhibiting proliferation and metastasis.
