Developing insertion-type anodes is essential for designing high-performance "rocking chair" zinc-ion batteries. BiOCl shows great potential as an insertion-type anode material for Zn storage due to its high specific capacity and unique layered structure. However, the development of BiOCl has been significantly hampered by its poor stability and kinetics during cycling.

In this strategy, the thiourea plays a bifunctionality role as reactant and intercalator precursor to ensure embedding into the interlayers of MoS to expand the interlayer spacing. The optimal E-MoS obtained presents superior supercapacitor performance with a specific capacity of 246.

It is found that a new self-Kerr (SK) nonlinearity term, which can greatly surpass that of a classical Λ type atomic system when the hybrid system has numerous atoms, is generated based on cavity field fluctuations by atom-cavity interactions. A strong photon-phonon cross-Kerr (CK) nonlinearity is also produced based on cavity field fluctuations.
