This controlled, open-label, and prospective study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of both methods for symptomatic grade I to III hemorrhoids.

Methods: Male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into two groups: a control group and a 2,4,6-trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid (TNBS)-induced colitis group.
