In the Long-term Odanacatib Fracture Trial (LOFT), the skeletal-metastasized breast cancer subjects who received odanacatib (ODN) had a delayed tumour progression and skeletal tumour burden as a result of anti-resorptive effects through inhibition of cathepsin K (CTSK).
