The incidence of cervical cancer has been increasing recently, becoming an essential factor threatening patients' health. Positron emission computed tomography (PET/CT) and positron emission tomography/magnetic resonance imaging (PET/MRI) are multimodal molecular imaging methods that combine functional imaging (PET) and anatomical imaging (CT) with MRI fusion technology. They play an important role in the clinical management of patients with cervical cancer.

In this work, it is demonstrated that the NO/NS-8 heterojunction material obtained via an epitaxial growth method based on ion exchange can be used as an outstanding electrode material for supercapacitors. The construction of heterojunctions between α-Ni(OH)2 and NiS1.

In this method, chitosan was used as a nitrogen-containing carbon precursor, low cost and large-scale commercial PEG was employed as a porogen. The physical and electrochemical properties of the resultant NHPC were affected by the ratio of chitosan and PEG.

In the title mononuclear complex, [CoCl(2)(C(11)H(11)N(5))(2)], the Co(II) atom is four-coordinated by two ligand N atoms and two Cl atoms in a distorted tetra-hedral geometry. In the crystal, mol-ecules are stacked through π-π inter-actions [centroid-centroid distances = 3.473 (2), 3.

It was observed that using this combination method, 100% human LoVo cancer cells were photokilled within 90 min, while only 39% of the normal cells were killed under the irradiation of the ultraviolet (UV) light (365 nm). Furthermore, the combination method may be used to photokill various kinds of caner cells only if the antibody conjugated on the TiO(2) nanoparticles is changed.
