Methods: This was a retrospective analysis of data from patients over 18 years of age who underwent posterior cervical EOLP (from C3-C6) in our department from January 2017 to July 2018. HBL was calculated by deducting the observed perioperative blood loss from the calculated total blood loss (TBL) based on the fall in haematocrit level.
Objective: The aim of the present study was to investigate the relationship between vacuum facet phenomena and lumbar instability in patients with degenerative spondylolisthesis (DS) in L4-L5.
Methods: Patients with L4-L5 DS who had both lumbosacral flexion-extension radiographs and computed tomography (CT) scans available for review from January 2016 to December 2017 were eligible for the present study. The dynamic motion index (DMI) of each patient was used to represent the percentage of slippage of L-L4 on the L5 vertebral disks on the flexion radiographs minus the percentage on the extension radiographs.

Methods: The parameters measured in 257 asymptomatic volunteers included CBVA, occipital slope, orbital tilt, occipital incidence, C0-C2 Cobb angle, C2-C7 Cobb angle, C1-C7 Cobb angle, C2-C7 sagittal vertical axis and absolute rotation angle, cervical tilt, cranial tilt, T1 slope, and thoracic kyphosis, and others. We used Pearson correlation analyses to find relationships between CBVA and other variables.
Objective: To determine whether radiographic findings associated with thoracolumbar burst fractures could be predictors of failure of short-segment posterior instrumentation with insertion screw at the fracture level (SSPI-f).
Methods: Seventy-five patients with thoracolumbar burst fracture surgically treated by SSPI-f were enrolled in the study and divided into 2 groups: a reduction group (n = 46) and a failed-reduction group (n = 29). Radiographic data including local kyphosis, Cobb angle, anterior vertebral height, posterior vertebral height (PVH), anterior/posterior vertebral height ratio, interpedicle distance (IPD), bony compress area, bony fracture area, and compress-fracture area of the fractured vertebra and clinical data including age and neurologic function were also analyzed.
