Objective: To investigate the influencing factors of the recurrence of IB1-IIA2 cervical squamous cell carcinoma after surgical treatment, and to explore the relationship between high-risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) infection and postoperative cervical squamous cell carcinoma recurrence.

Methods: Patients (n = 312) diagnosed with stage IB1-IIA2 cervical cancer and treated by radical hysterectomy and lymphadenectomy at this hospital were accrued between January 2014 and December 2016. The clinical data of these patients were analysed, and the association among clinicopathological factors, the association among clinicopathological factors, HPV infection and recurrences was investigated through Cox regression.

Estrogen and progesterone are the major determinants of the occurrence and development of endometrial cancer (EC), which is one of the most common gynecological cancers worldwide. Our purpose was to develop a novel estrogen/progesterone-related gene signature to better predict the prognosis of EC and help discover effective therapeutic strategies. We downloaded the clinical and RNA-seq data of 397 EC patients from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database.
