Heterotrophic Ammonia and Nitrate Bio-removal Over Nitrite (Hanbon): Performance and microflora.

A novel Heterotrophic Ammonia and Nitrate Bio-removal Over Nitrite (Hanbon) process, combining Short Nitrate Reduction (SNR) with Anaerobic Ammonia Oxidation (Anammox), was developed in a lab-scale continuous up-flow reactor.
