Cerebral hemorrhage is a serious cerebrovascular disease with high morbidity and high mortality, for which timely diagnosis and treatment are crucial. Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) is a functional imaging technique which is able to detect abnormal changes of electrical property of the brain tissue at the early stage of the disease. However, irregular multi-layer structure and different conductivity properties of each layer affect image reconstruction of the brain EIT, resulting in low reconstruction quality.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic value of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS) and conventional microbiological tests (CMTs) for pathogen detection in children with severe or refractory pneumonia. In this retrospective study, the clinical data of 127 children with severe or refractory pneumonia admitted to the respiratory department from June 2021 to March 2022 were analyzed.

Numerous studies have explored the role of metabolic alterations in KRAS-driven cancers, providing a scientific rationale for targeting metabolism in cancer treatment. The development of KRAS-specific inhibitors has also garnered considerable attention, partly due to the challenge of acquired treatment resistance.

However, the current RNA delivery system involves complex preparation and transport processes, requiring RNA preassembly , transportation at low temperatures throughout, and possibly multiple injections for improved therapeutic efficacy. To address these challenges, we developed a simple and efficient RNA delivery system.

However, existing studies predominantly examine single sample types and lack comparative analyses across different samples. This study comprehensively detects and compares genotypic resistance to clarithromycin and levofloxacin in gastric mucosa, gastric fluid, and fecal samples from the same patients.

We wanted to analyze the prevalence, incidence, disability-adjusted life years (DALY) rate, mortality rate, and risk factors of NRVHD in older adults aged 60-89 years.
Methods: Global Burden of Disease Study (GBD) 2019 was used as the data source.
Background: Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) are chronic inflammation conditions affecting the gastrointestinal tract. Studies point out an association between () infection and IBD. This study aims to visually assess the research trends and hotspots in the field of infection and IBD, review mainstream perspectives in this field, and provide a foundation for future research and treatment.

They were previously considered to have no risk of neoplastic transformation. Recently, an increasing number of cases of gastric hyperplastic polyps (GHPs) combined with neoplastic changes have been reported; however, the specific mechanism underlying their transformation has not been thoroughly explored.

Twenty-six consecutive left-sided breast cancer patients treated using Volumetric Intensity Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), DIBH, SGRT, and a hypofractionated regimen were retrospectively evaluated in this study. Dose parameters were extracted from dose-volume histograms (DVH).

We aimed to identify distinct clinical phenotypes of children and adolescents hospitalized with SARS-CoV-2 infection, and to evaluate their prognostic differences.
Methods: The German Society of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (DGPI) registry is a nationwide, prospective registry for children and adolescents hospitalized with a SARS-CoV-2 infection in Germany.

() colonizes the human stomach and many studies have discussed the mechanisms of infection leading to gastric diseases, including gastric cancer. Additionally, increasing data have shown that the infection of may contribute to the development of extra-gastric diseases and tumors. Inflammation, systemic immune responses, microbiome disorders, and hypergastrinemia caused by infection are associated with many extra-gastric malignancies.

Current treatments mainly rely on immunosuppressants, which lack specificity and pose challenges during treatment. This study aims to deeply explore the molecular pathogenic mechanism of SLE through gene expression databases (GEO) and bioinformatics analysis methods, combined with Mendelian randomization analysis, to provide key clues for new therapeutic targets.

LXY30 peptide is a peptide ligand targeting α3β1 integrin, and LXY30 specifically binds to Exos derived from different cells. We use transmission electron microscopy to identify LXY30-Exos and tracking analysis for particles, and the LXY30-Exos internalized by NSCLC cells in vitro and targeted NSCLC tumours in vivo were verified by multiple molecular technologies.

However, previous methods mostly concentrated on aligning domain-invariant features across domains and neglected integrating the specific features. To tackle this issue, we introduce a novel feature learning method called Joint Feature Differentiation and Interaction (JFDI), which significantly boosts the adaptability of the object detector.

Japan Esophageal Society (JES) classification is the most widely used classification. Microvascular structural changes are evaluated by magnifying endoscopy for the presence or absence of each morphological factor: tortuosity, dilatation, irregular caliber, and different shapes.

However, the molecular mechanism by which CagA evades autophagy-mediated degradation remains elusive. This study found that inhibits autophagic flux by upregulating the expression of AU-rich element RNA-binding factor 1 (AUF1).

Activation of the Nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain (NOD)-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome is closely associated with post-SAH neuroinflammation, while activation of Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD)-dependent deacetylase sirtuin-1 (SIRT1) has neuroprotective effects. This study aimed to investigate the impact of injectable Collagen Binding Domain-Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor (CBD-BDNF) on neuroinflammation and neuronal damage following SAH.

Despite several kinds of dosage forms having been reported for this drug, formulation types are very limited in clinical practice, and brain-targeted formulations for this central nervous system (CNS) drug have been rarely reported. Moreover, studies on the biocompatibility, toxicity, and anesthetic effects of the etomidate preparations in vivo were inadequate.
