Understanding the health risks of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in dust from city parks and prioritizing sources for control are essential for public health and pollution management. The combination of Source-specific and Monte Carlo not only reduces management costs, but also improves the accuracy of assessments. To evaluate the sources of PAHs in urban park dust and the possible health risks caused by different sources, dust samples from 13 popular parks in Kaifeng City were analyzed for PAHs using gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer (GC-MS).

Embedding of Laser Generated TiO in Poly(ethylene oxide) with Boosted Li Conduction for Solid-State Lithium Metal Batteries.

Poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO)-based solid polymer electrolytes are considered promising materials for realizing high-safety and high-energy-density lithium metal batteries. However, the high crystallinity of PEO at room temperature triggers low ionic conductivity and Li transference number, critically hindering practical applications in solid-state lithium metal batteries. Herein, we prepared nanosized TiO with enriched oxygen vacancies down to 13 nm as fillers by laser irradiation, which can be coated by in situ generated polyacetonitrile, ensuring good dispersibility in PEO.

The effect of different representations of pictures on the activation of gender stereotypes.

The purpose of this study is to explore whether there is N400 effect on the representation of gender stereotype in the different picture priming condition from the behavioral and ERP levels, and further explore whether there is hierarchical structure of upper category, secondary category, typical example and counter-example based on this. The results showed: (1) under the condition of picture priming, N400 effect would be induced when representing the conflict of gender stereotypes. (2) Category representation and example representation can activate different regions of the brain.

Rational Design of High-Performance PEO/Ceramic Composite Solid Electrolytes for Lithium Metal Batteries.

Composite solid electrolytes (CSEs) with poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) have become fairly prevalent for fabricating high-performance solid-state lithium metal batteries due to their high Li solvating capability, flexible processability and low cost. However, unsatisfactory room-temperature ionic conductivity, weak interfacial compatibility and uncontrollable Li dendrite growth seriously hinder their progress. Enormous efforts have been devoted to combining PEO with ceramics either as fillers or major matrix with the rational design of two-phase architecture, spatial distribution and content, which is anticipated to hold the key to increasing ionic conductivity and resolving interfacial compatibility within CSEs and between CSEs/electrodes.

Factors influencing the incidence of sinusitis in nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients after intensity-modulated radiation therapy.

The aim of the study was to investigate the incidence of sinusitis in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients before and after intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and to analyze factors associated with the incidence of sinusitis following IMRT. We retrospectively analyzed 283 NPC patients who received IMRT in our hospital from March 2009 to May 2011. The diagnostic criteria for sinusitis are based on computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings.

[Effect of freeze-thaw on clarify performance of extracting solution with silkworm dropping].

Silkworm dropping have sediment with alcohol extract and acid precipitation, affect the clarify performance quality, and polysaccharide and protein in extracting solution is badly for resinic columns in purification process.
