Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most prevalent malignancy and the second leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide, with an increasing shift towards younger age of onset. In recent years, there has been increasing recognition of the significance of tRNA-derived small RNAs (tsRNAs), encompassing tRNA-derived fragments (tRFs) and tRNA halves (tiRNAs). Their involvement in regulating translation, gene expression, reverse transcription, and epigenetics has gradually come to light.

In this study, M. micrantha seedlings were planted together with local tree species (Cryptocarya concinna) to simulate the process of M.

Among breast cancer types, triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) accounts for 15% of all breast cancers with aggressive tumor behavior. By using bioinformatic approaches, we observed that the microRNA-708 promoter is highly methylated in breast carcinomas, and this methylation is linked to a poor prognosis.

, recognized as one of the world's top 10 pernicious weeds, is a rapidly spreading tropical vine that has invaded the coastal areas of South China, causing serious economic losses and environmental damage. Rapid stem growth is an important feature of which may be related to its greater number of genes involved in auxin signaling and transport pathways and its ability to synthesize more auxin under adverse conditions to promote or maintain stem growth. Plant growth and development is closely connected to the regulation of endogenous hormones, especially the polar transport and asymmetric distribution of auxin.

Unlike other steroid hormone receptors, the GC receptor is not considered an oncogene. Research in the past few years has revealed the complexity of GC-mediated signaling, but it remains puzzling whether GCs promote or inhibit tumor progression in different cancer types.

By using xenograft orthotopic implantation of prostate cancer PC3 cells and subsequently comparing bone metastatic with primary tumor-derived cancer cells, we find that H S-producing enzyme cystathionine γ-lyase (CTH) is upregulated in bone-metastatic PC3 cells. Clinical data further reveal that the expression of CTH is elevated in late-stage prostate cancer patients, and higher CTH expression correlates with poor survival from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) prostate cancer RNA-seq datasets.
