Carotenoid cleavage dioxygenase (CCD) is the key enzyme for carotenoid cleavage, and the products of carotenoid cleavage regulate the ability of plants to stress. In this paper, six genes were obtained from (Mn) by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and we classified them into three subgroups based on gene structures and phylogenetic analysis. The CDS (coding sequence) regions of the six genes were 1617, 1620, 1635, 1713, 1746, and 1791 bp in full length, encoding 538, 539, 544, 570, 581, and 596 amino acids, respectively.

However, NCED genes involved in multi-abiotic stress and ABA synthesis pathway in mulberry (Morus alba L.) are still unknown.

Hypermoins A-D represented the first examples of highly modified norPPAPs characterized by a rare 7/6/6/5-tetracyclic system. From the biogenic synthesis pathway analysis, all isolates shared the same biosynthetic intermediate, and the addition of two methyls or one methyl to this intermediate through methyltranferase could generate different types of PPAPs (-).

The first decarbonylative ring contraction of complex natural products was investigated by light irradiation. Their structures were elucidated by nuclear magnetic resonance analysis, X-ray crystallography, and electronic circular dichroism calculations.

Obviously, further total synthesis of rocaglaol derivatives for medical chemistry study is of great significance. Then, twenty six rocaglaol derivatives including 25 new compounds were designed, synthesized, and evaluated for their cytotoxic activities against three human cancer cell lines: human colon cancer cells (HCT116), colorectal cancer stem cells (P6C), and human red leukocyte leukemia cells (HEL), using MTT assay.

The structures were identified on the basis of comprehensive spectroscopic data analysis including 1D and 2D NMR, and the absolute configurations of the new compounds were determined by quantum chemical electronic circular dichroism (ECD) calculations. In addition, compounds 4 and 12 exhibited moderate acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitory activities, with IC values of 20.

A new polycyclic polyprenylated acylphloroglucinol (PPAP), hypermonin C (), along with nine known PPAPs (-) were obtained from the leaves and twigs of . The structures of the isolates were determined on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis. The neuroprotective effects of the isolates against several chemical-induced injuries in SH-SY5Y and PC12 cells were assessed, and most of the compounds exhibited significant protective effects at 10 μg/ml.

Imaging modalities with clinical examination protocol have a lack of specificity and accuracy. The objective of the study was to compare the accuracy of diagnostic parameters of ultrasound measurements in patients with brain injury underwent invasive intracranial pressure measurement method.
