Background: To evaluate the efficacy of local-regional radiotherapy (LRRT) in de novo metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (dm NPC) patients receiving chemo-immunotherapy as first-line treatment and select the beneficiaries from LRRT.
Methods And Materials: M1-NPC patients receiving platinum-based chemo-immunotherapy with or without LRRT from four centers were included in this study. The propensity score matching (PSM) analysis was employed to balance the baseline characteristics between the LRRT and non-LRRT groups.

This study aims to examine the prevalence of mental disorders and their correlations with age at diagnosis and time since diagnosis among NPC survivors.

Radiotherapy is the backbone of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), nearly 11-17% NPC patients suffered local relapse and 18-37% suffered distant metastasis mainly due to radioresistance. Therefore, the key of improving patients' survivals is to investigate the mechanism of radioresistance. In this study, we revealed that the expression level of long intergenic nonprotein coding RNA 173 (LINC00173) was significantly increased in the radioresistant NPC patients' tumour tissues compared with the radiosensitive patients by RNA-sequencing, which also predict poor prognosis in NPC.

Purpose: The efficacy and safety of nimotuzumab (NTZ) added to concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) were investigated in patients with stage III-IVa nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).
Methods: Patients with stage III-IVa NPC treated with CCRT, with or without NTZ, were screened between January 2015 and December 2017. We compared patients' overall survival (OS), progression-free survival (PFS), locoregional recurrence-free survival (LRFS), and distant metastasis-free survival (DMFS) between different therapeutic regimens.

Background: Plasma Epstein-Barr virus DNA (EBV-DNA) is a sensitive and specific biomarker for nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). We investigated whether longitudinal monitoring of EBV-DNA could accurately detect clinical disease progression in NPC patients with bone-only metastases.
