Chronic musculoskeletal pain (CMP) is a common occurrence in clinical practice and there are a variety of options for the treatment of it. However, the pharmacological therapy is still considered to be a primary treatment. The recent years have witnessed the emergence of opioid crisis, yet there are no relevant guidelines on how to treat CMP with non-opioid analgesics properly.

To reach this consensus, we consulted a wide range of opinions and conducted in-depth discussions on the mechanism, indications, contraindications, operational specifications and adverse reactions of ozone iatrotechnique in the treatment of pain disorders. We also referred to related previous preclinical and clinical studies published in recent years worldwide.

In China, CEH patients are managed by many different specialties, and the treatment plans remain controversial. Therefore, there is a great need for comprehensive evidence-based Chinese experts' recommendations for the management of CEH.

The Ministry of Health of China officially issued a document, adding the first level diagnosis and treatment discipline "Algology" in the list of diagnosis and treatment subjects of medical institutions on July 16, 2007. As the most important pain academic organization in China, the Chinese Association for the Study of Pain has made outstanding contributions in promoting the development of pain discipline and in establishing pain standards and disease diagnosis and treatment guidelines. In this special issue, under the leadership of Yan-Qing Liu, Chairman of the 7 Committee of the Chinese Association for the Study of Pain, nine consensus and one guideline were included.

However, it is easy to confuse COVID-19 with seasonal influenza in preliminary clinical diagnosis. In this study, the differences between influenza and COVID-19 in epidemiological features, clinical manifestations, comorbidities and pathogen biology were comprehensively compared and analyzed.

Methods: First, 36 patients with GC were randomly assigned to the treatment (chemotherapy plus JPYZXZ) and control (chemotherapy alone) groups. The clinical efficacy, side effects, and quality of life of patients in the two groups were evaluated after treatment.

Although the classic activities of p53 including induction of cell-cycle arrest, senescence, and apoptosis are well accepted as critical barriers to cancer development, accumulating evidence suggests that loss of these classic activities is not sufficient to abrogate the tumor suppression activity of p53. Numerous studies suggest that metabolic regulation contributes to tumor suppression, but the mechanisms by which it does so are not completely understood. Cancer cells rewire cellular metabolism to meet the energetic and substrate demands of tumor development.

Herein, we investigated the reaction of the smallest Criegee intermediate, CHOO, with a water cluster through fragment-based molecular dynamics simulations at the MP2/aug-cc-pVDZ level. Our results show that the CHOO-water reaction could occur not only at the air/water interface but also inside the water cluster.

Objective: We report here the long-term results of the phase II clinical trial of apatinib, an anti-angiogenic tyrosine kinase inhibitor, for RAIR-DTC.
Methods: This was an open-label, exploratory phase II clinical trial among progressive RAIR-DTC patients.
The maintenance and sharing of electronic medical records are one of the essential tasks in the medical treatment combination. Traditional cloud-based electronic medical record storage system is difficult to realize data security sharing. The tamper resistance and traceability of blockchain technology provide the possibility for the sharing of highly sensitive medical data.

Methods: This was a single-center retrospective study of patients with lung adenocarcinoma between March 1st, 2013, to April 1st, 2019, at the Second People's Hospital of Taizhou City.
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition for which early identification and intervention is crucial for optimum prognosis. Our previous work showed gut Immunoglobulin A (IgA) to be significantly elevated in the gut lumen of children with ASD compared to typically developing (TD) children. Gut microbiota variations have been reported in ASD, yet not much is known about virulence factor-related gut microbiota (VFGM) genes.

The efficacy and synthetic versatility of asymmetric organocatalysis have contributed enormously to the field of organic synthesis since the early 2000s. As asymmetric organocatalytic methods mature, they have extended beyond the academia and undergone scale-up for the production of chiral drugs, natural products, and enantiomerically enriched bioactive molecules. This review provides a comprehensive overview of the applications of asymmetric organocatalysis in medicinal chemistry.

Current studies have found that one of the main problems in patients with neck pain is the impairment of cervical proprioception, which subsequently leads to cervical sensorimotor control disturbances. Cervical spine has a very delicate proprioceptive system that plays a crucial role in controlling posture and balance.

Cancer stem cells can promote the recurrence and growth of gastric cancer. The identification and isolation of gastric cancer stem cells contribute to the origin, progress and treatment strategy of gastric cancer.

In the present study, we aimed to describe the chemical synthetic lethal effects of the combination of gemcitabine and quinone-methide triterpenoid pristimerin in pancreatic cancer (PC) cells. The drug interaction assay indicated effective synergy between gemcitabine and pristimerin at sub-IC concentrations.

We previously showed that TRIM37 is overexpressed in and promotes the proliferation and invasion of pancreatic cancer (PC).
Methods: Sphere formation, flow cytometric, qRT-PCR, western blot, colony formation, EdU incorporation, mouse xenograft model, TUNEL and IHC assays were performed to detect the role of TRIM37 in stemness and chemoresistance of PC and .
Objective: Hirschsprung disease (HSCR) originates from disruption of normal neural crest cell migration, differentiation, and proliferation during the fifth to eighth weeks of gestation. This results in the absence of intestinal ganglion cells in the distal intestinal tract. However, genetic variations affecting embryonic development of intestinal ganglion cells are unclear.
