Cardiovascular disease, particularly acute myocardial infarction (AMI), is a major global health concern. Current diagnostic methods for AMI lack sensitivity and specificity, necessitating novel biomarkers for early detection. In this study, we analyzed AMI gene expression datasets from the GEO database, employing Differential Gene Expression Analysis and WGCNA to identify key genes and co-expression modules.

It is necessary to clarify the heterogeneity of MM and identify new theranostic targets. We constructed a single-cell transcriptome profile of 48,293 bone marrow cells from MM patients and health donors (HDs) annotated with 7 continuous B lymphocyte lineages.

Methods: In this study, 68 AF patients who underwent successful implantation of the Watchman device without peri-device leak (PDL) during follow-up were included. The endothelialization status was assessed using Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and LAA computed tomography angiography (CTA) at 6 weeks and 6 months post-implantation.
Introduction: Systemic implications create a critical need for identification of dry eye patients with Sjögren syndrome (SS). Herein, we aimed to determine expressions of type I-III interferons (IFNs) in dry eye patients with or without underlying SS and their differential diagnosis.
Methods: A prospective, observational, case-control study was performed on 140 dry eye patients among which 78 patients were diagnosed with SS.
Background: A high-fat diet (HFD) contributes to various metabolic disorders and obesity, which are major contributors to cardiovascular disease. As an essential regulator for heart homeostasis, cardiac resident macrophages may go awry and contribute to cardiac pathophysiology upon HFD. Thus, to better understand how HFD induced cardiac dysfunction, this study intends to explore the transcriptional and functional changes in cardiac resident macrophages of HFD mice.

In order to improve orchard soil nutrient cycling, enhance enzyme activities and microbial community structure in a "Jiro" sweet persimmon orchard, sod culture management was carried out to clarify the relationship among soil nutrient, microbial communities, and fruit yield and quality in persimmon orchard. The results showed that sod culture management increased the content of organic matter, total organic carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium in the soil, thus improving soil fertility.

However, the causal relationship between the two remains uncertain. This study employs a two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis to investigate the causality between depression and six musculoskeletal diseases.

To further enhance the performance of transition metal selenates, NiCoSeO (NCSeO) doped with N and Cl was prepared on nickel-plated carbon cloth (NCSeO-NCl-NiCC). During electrochemical reactions, NCSeO can be converted to M(OH) (M = Ni/Co) and OH is replaced by N and Cl.

However, the microfluidic fabrication of nano-doped hollow fiber in a simple, smooth, stable, continuous, well-controlled manner without system blockage remains challenging. In this study, we employ a microfluidic method to fabricate nano-doped hollow fiber, which not only makes the preparation process continuous, controllable, and efficient, but also improves the dispersion uniformity of nanoparticles.

In this paper, we used cheap and water-soluble NaHCO grains to prepare unique porous carbon with an orderly arranged tube array one-step carbonization. During the preparation process, a novel self-blowing mold of salt templates was discovered for the first time, and the resulting numerous high-speed gas jets can act as gas state templates to induce the formation of the oriented porous carbon into a mesoscale tube array with rich micropores.

Background: The relationship between visceral adipose tissue and osteoarthritis is not clear. The purpose of our study was to explore the relationship between visceral adipose tissue and osteoarthritis.
Methods: We used a two-sample Mendelian randomization method to select single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) significantly associated with visceral adipose tissue as instrumental variables to explore the relationship between visceral adipose tissue and all osteoarthritis, hand osteoarthritis, hip osteoarthritis, knee osteoarthritis, and spine osteoarthritis.
Office hysteroscopy is a common examination method in gynecological clinics. In most cases, it can only be examined but not treated. Here, we present our specific technique used office hysteroscope to guide intrauterine device (IUD) hook in the removal of deeply embedded IUD which provided direct visualization and sufficient force.

In this paper, a well-hydrated iron selenate (FeSeO) sheath is constructed around FeOOH nanorods by a facile electrochemical activation, demonstrating the unique multifunction in fasting charge diffusion, promoting the dissociation of HO, and inhibiting the irreversible phase transition of FeOOH to inert γ-FeO, which endow the hydrated sheath coated Fe-based anodes with an impressive rate capability and superior durability. Thanks to the comprehensive performance of this Fe-based anode, the assembled AHESD delivered a high energy density of 117 Wh kg with the extraordinary durability of almost 100% capacity retention after 40 000 cycles.

Here, we propose a novel multifunctional self-sensing actuated gradient hydrogel that combines ultrafast actuation and high sensitivity for remote interaction with robotic hand. The gradient network structure, achieved through a wettability difference method involving the rapid precipitation of MoO nanosheets, introduces hydrophilic disparities between two sides within hydrogel.
