Background: The synthesis of CDK4/6 inhibitors with endocrine treatment in two series of treatment has been widely accepted as the standard for patients with estrogen receptor-positive metastatic breast cancer. In spite of this, the activity of CDK4/6 inhibitors in patients with metastatic breast cancer who have progressed despite receiving multiple lines of treatment is not well understood.
Aims: To report the activity and safety of a CDK4/6 inhibitor (palbociclib) in patients in whom at least three lines of treatment for ER+ metastatic breast cancer had failed.
Objective: This study aims to evaluate the photoreceptor outer segment (PROS) length in patients who use hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) prior to the development of retinopathy.
Methods: In this prospective, single-centre, comparative study, 44 patients using HCQ for ≥5 years, 30 patients using HCQ <5 years, and 45 age- and sex-matched healthy controls were enrolled. The participants underwent a detailed ophthalmologic examination, spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) imaging, and 10-2 automated visual field testing.

Although the deterioration in pulmonary functions is a well-known important problem due to the treatment of the Hodgkin's lymphoma patients, the immediate and long term effects of the therapy and its distinctive components were not shown clearly yet. We planned to investigate effects of multiple agent chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy to pulmonary functions immediately and thereafter and the possible effects of the managing this situation. 34 patients were included the study.

Background: The fibromyalgia survey diagnostic criteria and severity scale (FSDC) is a self-reported version of 2010 preliminary diagnostic criteria for fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS). FSDC not only facilitates to diagnose FMS, it measures pain (the Widespread Pain Index (WPI)/FSDC Section 3), the Symptom Severity (SS)/FSDC Sections 1 and 2, and provides a score, polysymptomatic distress (PSD)/FSDC Total score in patients with FMS. The purpose of our study is to evaluate the reliability and validity of Turkish version of FSDC in Turkish patients with FMS.

However, yields of hematopoietic stem cells vary greatly between patients, and the optimal strategy to mobilize hematopoietic stem cells into peripheral blood for collection has not been defined yet. We investigated the efficacy and safety of chemo mobilization with an intermediate dose etoposide (VP-16; 200 mg/m(2) on days 1-3) and granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF)(5 µg/kg twice daily from day 4 through the final day of collection).

This study included 59 metastatic CRC patients. The expression of EGFR was quantified by immunochemistry in biopsy specimens that were obtained before treatment was initiated.

The transfusion rate of Bev is 90 min in the first dose, 60 min in the second and than from the third dose it is 30 min if no hypersensitivity reaction occurs in the first two doses. The purpose of this study determines whether these initial prolonged infusions are really necessary or not.

Relationship with disease control of DM and the presence of FMS was also evaluated. We have studied 93 consecutive patients with DM (85 with type 2 DM and 8 patients with type 1 DM) followed in Diabetes Center.

A 51-yr-old man presented to the oncology clinic with mucocutaneous skin lesions after six cycles of fludarabine for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. A punch biopsy from the skin showed suprabasal acantholysis and blister formation in the epidermis and upper dermis.
