Sinonasal malignant tumors are a group of uncommon malignancies that account for less than 1% of all tumors. These tumors often involve the maxillary sinus and nasal cavity, with less cumulative incidence in the ethmoidal sinus, sphenoidal sinus, and frontal sinus. The lack of consensus on the management of sinonasal malignancies is due to their rarity, diagnostic challenges, and the heterogeneity of treatments.

Purpose: To determine the effect of community based Nurse-led support intervention in the reduction of HbA1c levels compared to usual care.
Design And Methods: A systematic search of four electronic databases was conducted until August 2021 including RCTs to check for a reduction in HbA1c levels in Nurse-led intervention arm.
Results: Twenty-one trials involving 4649 diabetic individuals were included in the review.
This study aimed to investigate whether and how long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) MIR4435-2 host gene (MIR4435-2HG) involved in acute myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R). Blood samples were collected from acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients to detect MIR4435-2HG expression. myocardial I/R mice model and HO-induced oxidative stress model were established.

Herein, we propose an interesting strategy to alleviate the shuttle effect of lithium-sulfur battery by utilizing ferroelectric metal-organic framework (FMOF) as a host material for the first time. Compared to other MOF with same structure but without ferroelectricity and commercial carbon black, the cathode based on FMOF exhibits a low capacity decay and high cycling stability.

Herein, we propose a new strategy to anchor a large anionic group on the skeleton of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and achieve preeminent single-ionic conducting electrolytes. Utilizing a postsynthetic modification method, the trifluoromethanesulfonyl group is covalently coordinated to the amino groups of the UiO-66-NH framework.

Case Presentation: In the current report, a 55-year-old female was admitted in our hospital for evaluation of right eye epiphora and right nasal intermittent bleeding.

Newfangled frangipani-like [MVO(μ-O)(SO)(COO)] (M = Nb/W) polyanions served as 5-connected molecular building blocks (MBBs) that simultaneously assembled with 4-connected [VOCl] MBBs and tricarboxylate ligands (HBTC) to form two new polyoxovanadate-based metal-organic polyhedra {[MVO(μ-O)(SO)][VOCl](BTC)} with undiscovered "near-miss Johnson solid" geometry. Moreover, the variable-temperature magnetic susceptibilities were investigated.

Methods: A total of 200 patients with SNIP were enrolled, and a staging system was developed based on the originating sites and corresponding recurrence rates of tumor in the patients. In the verification phase, 675 patients with SNIPs were enrolled as above, and the originating sites of the SNIPs were confirmed by an endoscopic sinus surgery.

Nasal polyps (NP) involve tissue repair and structural remodel, both of which require the extracellular matrix. Matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase (TIMP) are known regulators for tissue reconstruction. This study therefore aimed to analyze the expressional profile of MMP-9 and TIMP-2 in NP patients, with further investigation of their roles in pathogenesis.

Objectives: To investigate the therapeutic effects of OM-85 BV as an adjunctive treatment on experimental chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) in mice.
Methodology: Female BALB/c mice aged 8-12 weeks were sensitized and administrated by intranasal Aspergillus fumigatis (AF) three times per week for 1 week, 3 weeks, 2 months and 3 months (n = 10 each time point). The mice were randomly and equally assigned to four groups: normal control group, model group, OM-85-BV plus amoxicillin group, and isolated amoxicillin group.
