Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a prevalent and deadly cancer globally, particularly in China, and the study investigates the effects of Sauchinone on CRC development and metastasis.
Experiments using SW480 and HCT116 cell lines demonstrated that Sauchinone reduced MMP2 and MMP9 expression, as well as PD-L1 levels, leading to enhanced anti-cancer immunity from CD8 T cells.
The findings suggest that Sauchinone effectively inhibits CRC cell growth, making it a potential candidate for future CRC treatments.
