Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia, with its prevalence linked to both genetic predisposition and environmental factors. Epigenetic modifications, particularly through histone deacetylases (HDACs), have been recognized for their significant influence on DM pathogenesis. This review focuses on the classification of HDACs, their role in DM and its complications, and the potential therapeutic applications of HDAC inhibitors.

Visualization analysis of mitochondrial dynamics in heart failure based on bibliometrics: Trends, hotspots, and topics.

This study aimed to conduct a visual analysis of the relevant literature on mitochondrial dynamics in heart failure, explore the research progress, frontier topics, and development trends in this field, and provide references for the study concerning mitochondrial dynamics in the prevention and treatment of heart failure. The Web of Science was searched from inception to October 1, 2023 to identify relevant English literature on mitochondrial dynamics in heart failure. Bibliometric methods were utilized to statistically analyze the eligible literature, and CiteSpace 6.

Rules of Chinese Herbal Intervention of Radiation Pneumonia Based on Network Pharmacology and Data Mining.

Objective: To explore the mechanism and principles of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in the management of radiation pneumonia.

Methods: The targets of radiation pneumonia were obtained by screening the GeneCards, OMIM, TTD, DrugBank, and HERB databases, analyzing ADME parameters. In addition, compounds and Chinese herbs that can act on the targets were screened from the TCMSP database.
