Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the efficacy of a multimodal, outpatient neuromuscular protocol in treating remaining sensitization and myofascial pain in endometriosis patients post-surgical excision.
Patients And Methods: A retrospective longitudinal study was conducted for women aged 22 to 78 with a history of surgically excised endometriosis. 60 women with an average duration of pain of 8.
Sertoliform cystadenoma is a rare benign tumor of the rete testis with 8 previously reported cases and an additional 14 cases reported in an abstract form. It usually presents with a unilateral scrotal mass, clinically and radiologically indistinguishable from malignant testicular tumors. We report a 39-year-old man who presented with a right testicular mass.

Previous attempts at identifying stone composition based on mean Hounsfield Units (HUm) have had varied success. We aimed to evaluate the additional use of standard deviation of HU (HUsd) to more accurately predict stone composition.

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed medical records for 128 patients with nonmetastatic, unilateral, synchronous, multifocal renal tumors who underwent surgical resection at our institution from 1995 to 2012. Five patients with hereditary renal cell carcinoma were excluded.
Purpose: Renal cell carcinoma most commonly metastasizes to the lung. Indeterminate pulmonary nodules develop preoperatively in half of the patients with localized renal cell carcinoma but clinical significance remains poorly defined. We determined whether the presence of indeterminate pulmonary nodules, or nodule size or number is associated with renal cell carcinoma outcomes.

The first goal of the following studies was to assess the impact of acute stress on other key inflammatory factors, including both cytokines and cell surface markers for immune-derived cells resident to the CNS in adult male Sprague Dawley rats exposed to intermittent footshock (80 shocks, 90 s variable ITI, 5 s each). While scattered changes in IL-6 and GFAP were observed in the hippocampus and cortex, we found the hypothalamus to be exquisitely sensitive to the effects of footshock.
