Sertoliform Cystadenoma of the Rete Testis: Report of a Case and Review of the Literature.

Sertoliform cystadenoma is a rare benign tumor of the rete testis with 8 previously reported cases and an additional 14 cases reported in an abstract form. It usually presents with a unilateral scrotal mass, clinically and radiologically indistinguishable from malignant testicular tumors. Previous attempts at identifying stone composition based on mean Hounsfield Units (HUm) have had varied success. Partial and Radical Nephrectomy for Unilateral Synchronous Multifocal Renal Cortical Tumors.

Purpose: Renal cell carcinoma most commonly metastasizes to the lung. Indeterminate pulmonary nodules develop preoperatively in half of the patients with localized renal cell carcinoma but clinical significance remains poorly defined. Recent work from our laboratory and others has shown that certain stressors increase expression of the pro-inflammatory cytokine interleukin-1beta (IL-1) in the hypothalamus. The first goal of the following studies was to assess the impact of acute stress on other key inflammatory factors, including both cytokines and cell surface markers for immune-derived cells resident to the CNS in adult male Sprague Dawley rats exposed to intermittent footshock (80 shocks, 90 s variable ITI, 5 s each).
