Artificial synapses, basic units of neuromorphic hardware, have been studied to emulate synaptic dynamics, which are beneficial for realizing high-quality neural networks. Currently, two-dimensional (2D) material heterojunction structures are widely used in the study of artificial synapses; however, their dynamic weight-updating characteristics are restricted owing to their high nonlinearity and low symmetricity. In this study, we treated h-BN with oxygen plasma to form a charge-trapping layer (CTL), and we prepared 2D ReS/CTL/h-BN heterojunction synapses.

The use of two-dimensional materials and van der Waals heterostructures holds great potential for improving the performance of memristors Here, we present SnS/MoTeheterostructure synaptic transistors. Benefiting from the ultra-low dark current of the heterojunction, the power consumption of the synapse is only 19J per switching under 0.1 V bias, comparable to that of biological synapses.

Using the mechanism of self-reactive etching between Ga and GaO, GaO nanopore films were fabricated. The self-reactive etching effects based on as-grown and annealed GaO films by metal organic chemical vapor deposition were compared. It was found that the nanopore film based on as-grown GaO film has a uniform size, high density and a small diameter.

The van der Waals (vdW) heterostructure, made up of two dissimilar two-dimensional materials held together by van der Waals interactions, has excellent electronic and optoelectronic properties as it provides a superior interface quality without the lattice mismatch problem. Here, we report the development and photoresponse characteristics of a p-n diode based on a stacked black phosphorus (BP) and rhenium disulfide (ReS2) heterojunction. The heterojunction showed a clear gate-tunable rectifying behavior similar to that of the conventional p-n junction diode.

Wenxin-Keli (WXKL) is a Chinese herbal compound reported to be of benefit in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmia, cardiac inflammation, and heart failure. Amiodarone is a noncompetitive inhibitor of the α - and β -adrenergic receptors and prevents calcium influx in the slow-response cells of the sinoatrial and atrioventricular nodes. Overexpression of Ca(2+)/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII) in transgenic mice results in heart failure and arrhythmias.

We evaluated the effects of the Xuefu Zhuyu capsule (XFZY) and the Shengmai capsule (SM) on the evolution of syndromes and inflammatory markers in patients with unstable angina pectoris (UAP) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Ninety patients with UAP after PCI were randomly and equally assigned to three groups: the XFZY group, the SM group, and the placebo group, with 30 patients in each group. Six syndrome factors (including Qi deficiency, yin deficiency, yang deficiency, blood stasis, phlegm, and Qi stagnation) and 4 inflammatory markers (high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (Hs-CRP), endothelins-1 (ET-1), matrix metalloproteinases-9 (MMP-9), and homocysteine (Hcy)) were observed at week 0 and at the 1st, 4th and 12th weeks.
