Background: Endoscopic diagnosis of early gastric cancer (EGC) is a challenge. It is not clear whether deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) model could improve the endoscopists' diagnostic performance.
Methods: We established a DCNN-assisted system and found that accuracy of diagnosis is higher than endoscopists.

Objective: In this study, we aimed to evaluate the efficacy of the Magnetic Scope Guide Assist (ScopeGuide) in enhancing the procedural competence of endoscopists and reducing patient discomfort during colonoscopy.
Methods: This was a retrospective study with 88 trainee participants. The study participants were trained on patients who underwent colonoscopy without anesthesia.
Background: Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is a method that can be used for en bloc resection, regardless of the size and form of the lesion. The special location of ileocecal tumors leads to insufficient counter-traction and poor field of vision, making ESD difficult. An S-O clip has been developed to simplify the attachment procedure, eliminating interference with the endoscope and improving accessibility.

Foreign bodies in the digestive tract are a common cause of patients presenting to emergency departments. A 3-year-old boy who had accidentally swallowed magnetic beads while playing was admitted to the hospital. After failed endoscopic removal, he underwent laparoscopic removal.

However, the potential role of GRWR in the prognosis of patients following living donor liver transplantation according to patient characteristics remains controversial. This study aimed to update the role of GRWR in patients following living donor liver transplantation.

Here we describe a technique to alleviate portal hypertension and improve the hepatocyte reperfusion in small-for-size liver transplantation in a Lewis rat model.
Methods: The rats underwent trans-portal vein intra-hepatic portosystemic shunt using a self-developed porous conical tube (TPIPSS: Fig.
Background: The anti-immunological rejection therapy for small-for-size syndrome (SFSS) after live donor liver transplantation (LDLT) play a central role in keeping graft survival. The hepatocyte number and grafts function has undergone real-time changes with the proliferation and apoptosis of the grafts after reperfusion. Lacking an accurate and effective treatment regiments or indicators to guide the use of immunosuppressive drugs in SFS liver transplantation has made immunotherapy after SFS liver transplantation an urgent problem to be solved.

Four SUMO isoforms have been identified, which are SUMO1, SUMO2/3 and SUMO4. The small ubiquitin-like modifier (SUMO) pathway is conserved in all eukaryotes and plays pivotal roles in the regulation of gene expression, cellular signaling and the maintenance of genomic integrity.

Picroliv, a Picrorhiza kurroa derivative, has been demonstrated to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect. The purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of picroliv on experimental model of UC in mice.
