To overcome challenges in assessing the impact of environmental factors on heavy metal accumulation in soil due to limited comprehensive data, our study in Yangxin County, Hubei Province, China, analyzed 577 soil samples in combination with extensive big data. We used machine learning techniques, the potential ecological risk index, and the bivariate local Moran's index (BLMI) to predict Cr, Pb, Cd, As, and Hg concentrations in cultivated soil to assess ecological risks and identify pollution sources. The random forest model was selected for its superior performance among various machine learning models, and results indicated that heavy metal accumulation was substantially influenced by environmental factors such as climate, elevation, industrial activities, soil properties, railways, and population.

Methods: The db/db mice without drug treatment served as the model group. Other-treated db/db mice were administered SSYX for 8 weeks.
Background: Meningioma is the most common type of primary intracranial tumor with 0.1-1% of all primary meningiomas have been reported to develop into metastases. However, there is no proven therapeutic strategy for multiple metastases of meningiomas.

Karyopherin α2 (KPNA2) has been demonstrated in a variety of malignancies. Our objective was to determine whether the KPNA2 level is predictive of clinical outcome in patients with SCCC.

Pharmacological antiarrhythmic therapy such as beta-blockers in patients with frequent premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) and concomitant bradycardia is challenging. A traditional Chinese medicine, Shensong Yangxin (SSYX), has been effective in treatment of frequent PVCs and sinus bradycardia (SB) in separate patient cohorts. This double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicentre, randomized clinical trial investigates the acute efficacy of SSYX in reducing PVCs burden in patients with concomitant SB.

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of shensong yangxin capsule (SYC) on ventricular premature beat (VPB) differentiated in TCM as palpitation of Qi-yin deficiency syndrome or Xin collateral stagnation syndrome, and cardiovascular autonomic nervous function in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD).
Methods: The randomized, double-blind, parallel contrast method was adopted, patients were randomly assigned by 3:1 ratio into two groups. One hundred and sixty-five patients in SYC treated group and 56 in the control group (treated with Xinlvning tablet), and the therapeutic course for both groups was 4 weeks.
