Optimization on Adsorption Process of Congo Red onto Magnetic NiCuFe₂O₄/SiO₂ Nanocomposites and Their Adsorption Mechanism.

Magnetic NiCuFe₂O₄/SiO₂ nanocomposites were prepared via a solution combustion process, and were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Energy dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The magnetic NiCuFe₂O₄/SiO₂ nanocomposites were employed to remove Congo red (CR) from aqueous solution, and the adsorption process was optimized by response surface methodology (RSM).
