Sulfur mustard (HD) alkylates biomolecules such as proteins, generating specific biomarkers. This study employs steric hindrance, electronic effects, and solvent effects through an occupancy-removal strategy to synthesize regioisomers [N1-HETE]-His and [N3-HETE]-His, overcoming isomer separation challenges in conventional methods. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations revealed hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP)'s critical role in directing HD's regioselective alkylation: HFIP modulates steric and electronic environments to preferentially target N1 or N3 sites of histidine imidazole rings, with predictions validated experimentally.

Uniaxial compression tests were conducted for coal with different water contents, and the analyses were based on the energy principle and the principle of minimum energy dissipation. The results showed that the physical properties of the coal specimens were different under different water contents, the peak strain was positively correlated with water content, and the compressive strength and elastic modulus were negatively correlated with water content.

Traditional SMAs display unstable tensile properties resulting from inconsistencies between the constrained conductive layer and the flexible dielectric layer. This study introduces an organohydrogel-based stretchable microwave absorber (OSMA) that incorporates an organohydrogel within an island-bridge structure.

However, the mechanisms remain undefined, and currently there are no effective therapies available. This study aims to elucidate aging- and alcohol-associated spatial transcriptomic signature by establishing an aging AAP mouse model and applying Visium spatial transcriptomics for understanding of the mechanisms in the context of the pancreatic tissue.

Despite many commercial materials or reagents that have been already applied in sample preparation, such as SPE columns, few materials with specificity have been utilized for purification or enrichment. In this study, ionic magnetic mesoporous nanomaterials such as poly(4-VB)@M-MSNs (magnetic mesoporous silicon nanoparticles modified by 4-vinyl benzene sulfonic acid) and Co@M-MSNs (magnetic mesoporous silicon nanoparticles modified by cobalt ions) with high absorptivity for ethanol amines (EAs, nitrogen mustard degradation products) and cyanide were successfully synthesized.

Purpose: To evaluate the postoperative outcomes of the all-inside technique in arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR).
Methods: Patients who underwent ACLR using the all-inside technique between 2018 and 2021 were retrospectively assessed. All patients were followed up for at least 2 years.
The clinical experience of 's needling technique for post-stroke depression is introduced. Professor proposes that the main pathogenesis of this condition lies in the "imbalance of body and spirit," with its onset closely related to the heart, liver, spleen, and kidney. In clinical practice, based on the principle of "treating both the body and spirit", "three acupoints for treating the spirit" including Dazhui (GV 14), Fengchi (GB 20), and Baihui (GV 20) are selected, combined with back- points such as Xinshu (BL 15), Ganshu (BL 18), Pishu (BL 20), and Shenshu (BL 23).

SMARCB1 loss has long been observed in many solid tumors. However, there is a need to elucidate targetable pathways driving growth and metastasis in SMARCB1-deficient tumors. Here, we demonstrate that SMARCB1 deficiency, defined as genomic SMARCB1 copy number loss associated with reduced mRNA, drives disease progression in patients with bladder cancer by engaging STAT3.

All-dielectric absorbers offer broadband and high-intensity absorption effects in microwave absorption and shielding. However, they face a significant challenge: their performance is not adjustable once the design is completed.

Using a fluid-solid coupling test system of coal rock, numerous conventional triaxial compression tests were performed on rock masses at various dip angles of the structural plane. The obtained empirical outcomes revealed that the deviatoric stress-strain curve of the weak structural plane rock mass with an inclination angle greater than 20° rises step-by-step.

CMNAs have been recently added to the Annex on Chemicals of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) and Schedules of Controlled Chemicals of China. In this study, a rapid, sensitive and selective method was developed for the fluorescence detection of ambenonium chloride (AC) through host-guest and electrostatic dual interactions between AC and cyclodextrin/11-mercaptoundecanoic acid (CD/MUA) dually functionalized gold nanoclusters (AuNCs).

By theoretically analysing the strength effect of a structural plane of a rock mass under dynamic disturbance, a criterion for the occurrence of shear damage on a structural plane of a compressed rock mass under dynamic disturbance is proposed. The results of the cyclic disturbance kinetic test show that there is a disturbance threshold for the shear failure of the structural plane under different disturbance stresses.

Methods: Tunnel widening was evaluated using computed tomography (CT)-based three-dimensional (3D) models, and the femoral GBA was directly measured on CT images using the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) software. Clinical follow-up was routine procedure, and patient-reported clinical outcomes mainly included International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC), Lysholm, and Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Scores (KOOS) scores, and subjective knee stability assessment.
