Ovarian cancer, a highly lethal form of gynecological cancer globally, has witnessed notable advancements in its treatment through the integration of nanotechnology and immunotherapy. Here, we designed a novel astragalus polysaccharide vector (PDA), encapsulating podophyllotoxin (PPT), and modifying methotrexate (DSPE-PEG-MTX) on its surface for targeting ovarian cancer cells with high folate receptor expression. We prepared novel MTX-modified PPT-loaded astragalus polysaccharide micelles (MTX-PPT-micelles) by dialysis method and evaluated their characterization, stability, safety and targeting ability.

The utilization of water electrolytes in zinc-ion batteries offers the advantages of enhanced safety, reduced cost, and improved environmental friendliness, rendering them an optimal choice for replacing lithium-ion batteries. Nevertheless, the conventional zinc sulfate electrolyte fails to meet stringent requirements. Therefore, developing electrolytes is crucial for addressing the low cycle life of zinc ions and suppressing the growth of zinc dendrites.

Organic electronic materials have driven remarkable advances in the field because of their unique material properties, yet limitations in spatial resolution and recording density remain. Here, we introduce organic electro-scattering antennas (OCEANs) for wireless, light-based probing of electrical signals with micrometer spatial resolution, potentially from thousands of sites.

The excessive release of reactive oxygen species (ROS) after myocardial infarction (MI) disrupts the natural healing process, leading to cardiac fibrosis and compromising patient prognosis. However, the clinical application of many antioxidant drugs for MI treatment is hindered by their poor antioxidant efficacy and inability to specifically target the heart. Here we developed a tannic acid-modified MnO nanozyme (named MnO@TA), which can achieve cardiac targeting to inhibit post-MI fibrosis and enhance cardiac function.

The study will use electronic health records from 2010 to 2020 from the Yinzhou Regional Health Information Platform and include a population-based cohort of female permanent residents aged 9-45 years. Baseline and follow-up periods will be defined according to the 2017 introduction of HPV-16/18-AS04 in China.

Macrocyclic structures are popular in supramolecular chemistry and have enjoyed considerable success as platforms for elaboration to container compounds and new materials. Host/guest studies in organic media have relied heavily on structures derived from crown ethers, calixarenes, cucurbiturils, resorcinarenes and pillararenes over the past decades. More recently, their water-soluble versions have been developed for potential applications in biology.
