Designing a core-shell nanointerface is beneficial for enhancing the photocatalytic performance of hydrogen peroxide (HO) production. Hence, a direct Z-scheme one-dimensional (1 D) CuBiOS@CuBiO nanorods with a core (oxide)-shell (sulfide) nanostructure and OS interpenetrated nanointerface was controllably synthesized through in-situ anion exchange. The formation of OS interpenetration at the heterogeneous interface with surface oxygen vacancies could effectively boost light absorption, reduce the interface contact resistance, facilitate band bending, and thus enhance charge separation and transfer as a "bridge".

A series of novel 3-phenoxy-4-(3-trifluoromethylphenyl)pyridazines - were designed, based on the structure of our previous lead compound through the in silico structure-guided optimization approach. The results showed that some of these new compounds showed a good herbicidal activity at the rate of 750 g ai/ha by both pre- and post-emergence applications, especially compound , which displayed a comparable pre-emergence herbicidal activity to diflufenican at 300-750 g ai/ha, and a higher post-emergence herbicidal activity than diflufenican at the rates of 300-750 g ai/ha. Additionally, was safe to wheat by both pre- and post-emergence applications at 300 g ai/ha, showing the compound's potential for weed control in wheat fields.

Optineurin (OPTN) has important functions in diverse biological processes and diseases, but its effect on dendritic cell (DC) differentiation and functionality remains elusive. Here we show that OPTN is upregulated in human and mouse DC maturation, and that deletion of Optn in mice via CD11c-Cre attenuates DC maturation and impairs the priming of CD4 T cells, thus ameliorating autoimmune symptoms such as experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE). Mechanistically, OPTN binds to the JH1 domain of JAK2 and inhibits JAK2 dimerization and phosphorylation, thereby preventing JAK2-STAT3 interaction and inhibiting STAT3 phosphorylation to suppress downstream transcription of IL-10.

NIR-activated therapies based on light-responsive drug delivery systems are emerging as a remote-controlled method for cancer precise therapy. In this work, fluorescent dye indocyanine green (ICG)-conjugated and bioactive compound gambogic acid (GA)-loaded polymeric micelles (GA@PEG-TK-ICG PMs) were smoothly fabricated via the self-assembly of the reactive oxygen species (ROS)-responsive thioketal (TK)-linked amphiphilic polymer poly(ethyleneglycol)-thioketal-(indocyanine green) (PEG-TK-ICG). The resultant micelles demonstrated increased resistance to photobleaching, enhanced photothermal conversion efficiency, NIR-controlled drug release behavior, preferable biocompatibility, and excellent tumor accumulation performance.

Since heat affected zone (HAZ) is the weak area of welded joints, this article proposes a method to predict the HAZ microstructure and hardness for the triple-wire gas metal arc welding (GMAW) process of Q960E high strength steel. This method combines welding thermal simulation and numerical simulation. The microstructures and hardness of Q960E steel under different cooling rates were obtained by thermal simulation and presented in a simulated HAZ continuous cooling transformation (SH-CCT) diagram.

After acute myocardial infarction (AMI), the loss of cardiomyocytes and dysregulation of extracellular matrix homeostasis results in impaired cardiac function and eventually heart failure. Cardiac patches have emerged as a potential therapeutic strategy for AMI. In this study, we fabricated and produced reduced graphene oxide (rGO)/silk fibroin-modified nanofibrous biomaterials as a cardiac patch to repair rat heart tissue after AMI and investigated the potential role of rGO/silk patch on reducing myocardial fibrosis and improving cardiac function in the infarcted rats.

Four undescribed bisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloids, designated as Stephtetrandrine A-D, were isolated from the roots of . Their structures were elucidated by IR, HRESIMS, ECD spectra, 1 D and 2 D NMR spectra and comparison with the literature data.
