Molecularly imprinted nanocomposite membranes (MINMs) have shown great superiority in selective separation of acteoside (ACT) from phenylethanoid glycosides in Cistanche tubulosa. Herein, ACT-based MINMs (A-MINMs) with coral reef-like imprinted structure were proposed and developed for specifically separating ACT molecules. The nanospheres with hydrophilic multicores (NHMs) were introduced into polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) powders to obtain NHMs@PVDF membranes by a phase inversion method.

Here, we report a palladium-catalyzed enantioselective ring-closing aminoalkylative amination of aminoenynes enabled by rationally tuning the remote electronic property of 1,1'-binaphthol-derived phosphoramidites. With a tailored 6,6'-CN-substituted 1,1'-binaphthol-derived phosphoramidite as a ligand, a broad range of aromatic amines are compatible with this reaction, allowing the efficient synthesis of a series of enantioenriched exocyclic allenylamines bearing saturated N-heterocycles with up to >99% enantiomeric excess.

Mechanistically, this reaction is initiated by the generation of the thionium ion, whereas forming such intermediates typically requires the use of a stoichiometric amount of activating reagent. In this regard, we report the activator-free Pummerer-type transformation, a silver-catalyzed thio-Claisen rearrangement of aryl sulfoxides with AIBN.

However, efficient strategies to differentiate and sort such congeneric compounds are lacking, posing daunting challenges for synthetic endeavours aimed at their orderly incorporation. Here we report a dynamic amine-sorting strategy that incorporates the chemoselective formation of the aminomethyl cyclopalladated complex to achieve the efficient differentiation of amine congeners.

Carbon dots (CDs), as an emerging nanomaterial, have shown tremendous potential in disease biomarker detection. CDs can selectively interact with different target molecules, enabling highly sensitive and specific detection of these biomolecules. Compared to traditional detection methods, CDs sensors offer advantages such as rapid response, high detection sensitivity, and low cost.

The small brown planthopper Laodelphax striatellus is an important agricultural pest and causes serious damage by transmitting diverse plant viruses, such as rice stripe virus (RSV). However, DARs have not yet been molecularly characterized in planthoppers, and their roles in virus infection and transmission remain largely unknown in insect vectors.

Therefore, we established an animal model of weightlessness via tail suspension to examine the pathological changes and molecular mechanisms of retinal damage under microgravity.

Otherwise, significant errors will be generated, seriously affecting the applicability of infrared radiometric thermometry for distant point targets in the external field. To address the above issue, the infrared radiometric thermometry method for point targets has been researched.

The fucosyl branch in FCS is generally located at the 3-OH of -glucuronic acid but, recently, a novel structure with α--fucose linked to the 6-OH of -acetyl-galactosamine has been found. Here, using functionalized monosaccharide building blocks, we prepared novel FCS tetrasaccharides with fucosyl branches both at the 6-OH of GalNAc and 3-OH of GlcA.

Use of volatile compounds, such as essential oils (EOs) of plants, to repel pests and disrupt their olfaction-driven behaviors has great practical potential for use in integrated pest management. Despite the available information on the repellent effects of EOs on herbivorous insects, the olfaction-based mechanisms remain unknown.

A decrease of 2-AG levels in the hippocampus of the brain has been observed in depressive-like models induced by chronic stress. Herein, employing a structure-based approach, we designed and synthesized a new class of (piperazine-1-carbonyl) quinolin-2(1H)-one derivatives as potent, reversible and selective MAGL inhibitors.

All the hybrids were assayed for the COX-2 inhibitory and DPPH (2, 2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) free radical scavenging activities in vitro. Finally, we found a series of hybrids with good inhibitory activity and selectivity of COX-2 and excellent free radical scavenging activity in vitro.

However, motion or exposure to water can easily destabilize this connection. In contrast to traditional methods of attaching electrodes to the skin surface, this study introduces a skin-integration strategy inspired by the skin's intergrown structure.

Knowing the structure of catalytically active species/phases and providing methods for their purposeful generation are two prerequisites for the design of catalysts with desired performance. Herein, we introduce a simple method for precise preparation of supported/bulk catalysts. It utilizes the ability of metal oxides to dissolve and to simultaneously precipitate during their treatment in an aqueous ammonia solution.
