Dysregulated iron metabolism-induced ferroptosis is considered a key pathological mechanism in the development of osteoporosis (OP). G protein-coupled receptor 30 (GPR30, also known as Gper1) is an estrogen-binding receptor that has shown therapeutic benefits in patients with certain degenerative diseases. Moreover, several studies have demonstrated the anti-ferroptotic effects of estrogen receptor activation.

The development of polarization photodetectors utilizing two-dimensional materials holds significant promise due to their distinctive properties and potential for high integration. However, a major limitation of most current polarization photodetectors is their lack of polarization tuning capability, which restricts the versatility of individual devices. In this study, a nonvolatile ferroelectric tunable polarization photodetector is explored based on 2H α-InSe.

Many studies have achieved strong coupling at room temperature. However, the systems in these studies generally lack orderly characteristics and precise controllability, and their tunability also remains rather limited.

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have recently become a focal point in the regulation of cancer development. However, few lncRNAs associated with castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) have been reported.

Novel CHO cell line development is achieved through genetic and cellular engineering approaches, effectively addressing limitations such as clonal variation and productivity loss during culture. Previous studies have established that MAT2A inhibition in tumor cells promotes expression of the cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor p21, inducing antitumor activity.

However, previous studies have prioritized detection accuracy over model efficiency, limiting their deployment on resource-constrained sensors. To address this issue, we propose the lightweight space target real-time detection transformer (STar-DETR), which achieves a balance between model efficiency and detection accuracy.

Self-healing technology is an effective method for enhancing the crack resistance of cement-based composites. This study focuses on the impact of the environmentally friendly diluent C12-14 alkyl glycidyl ether (AGE) on the performance of the epoxy resin-polythiol (rimethylolpropane tris (3-mercaptopropionate), TMPMP) self-healing system, examining core fluidity, microcapsule properties, molecular dynamics, and the mechanical properties of cured products. The results show that as the AGE dosage increases, the particle size distribution of microcapsules becomes more concentrated, and the dispersion of particles is improved.

However, patients with GBS also experience nerve pain (radicular pain) and deep muscle pain. This report is of a 73-year-old man presenting with shoulder muscle pain and a diagnosis of Guillain-Barre syndrome.

Here, in HEK293T cells, we endogenously label the methylated mA sites on single Oxford Nanopore Technology (ONT) direct RNA sequencing (DRS) reads by APOBEC1-YTH-induced C-to-U mutations 10-100 nt away, obtaining 1,020,237 5-mer single-read mA signals. We then trained m6Aiso, a deep residual neural network model that accurately identifies and quantifies mA at single-read resolution.

CircRNAs play pivotal roles in diverse physiological and pathological processes, functioning through mechanisms such as miRNAs or proteins sponging, regulation of splicing and gene expression, and serving as translation templates, particularly in the context of various cancers. The hallmarks of cancer comprise functional capabilities acquired during carcinogenesis and tumor progression, providing a conceptual framework that elucidates the nature of the malignant transformation.

Soil organic carbon (SOC) is essential for regulating soil properties and microbial communities, while microbial biomass carbon (MBC) is the most active fraction of the SOC pool, both of which play pivotal roles in the global carbon cycle. Here, we performed a meta-analysis on 623 and 85 individual observations from 85 peer-reviewed articles to quantitatively evaluate the effect of grassland conversion on SOCS and MBC.

Despite this importance, a fundamental question remains: how to model the presentation of neoantigens by major histocompatibility complex class I molecules and the recognition of the peptide-MHC-I (pMHC-I) complex by T cell receptors (TCRs). Accurate prediction of pMHC-I binding and TCR recognition remains a significant computational challenge in immunology due to intricate binding motifs and the long-tail distribution of known binding pairs in public databases.

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic and inflammatory skin disorder characterized by impaired barrier function and imbalanced immunity. Recent advances have revealed that dysbiosis of skin microbiota plays important roles in the pathogenesis and development of AD. Meanwhile, endogenous and external factors contribute to the dysbiosis of skin microbiota in AD.

Given a number of data sets for evaluating the performance of single reference methods for the low-lying excited states of closed-shell molecules, a comprehensive data set for assessing the performance of multireference methods for the low-lying excited states of open-shell systems is still lacking. For this reason, we propose an extension (QUEST#4X) of the radical subset of QUEST#4 ( , , 3720) to cover 110 doublet and 39 quartet excited states. Near-exact results obtained by iterative configuration interaction with selection and second-order perturbation correction (iCIPT2) are taken as benchmark to calibrate static-dynamic-static configuration interaction (SDSCI) and static-dynamic-static second-order perturbation theory (SDSPT2), which are minimal MRCI and CI-like perturbation theory, respectively.

This feature permits the use of configuration selection over a large complete active space (CAS) to end up with a much reduced reference space ̃, which is connected only with a small portion (̃) of the full first-order interacting space connected to . The most expensive portion of the reduced interacting ̃ space (which involves three active orbitals) can further be truncated by partially bypassing its generation followed by an integral-based cutoff.
