The structural stability, electronic properties regulation and feasibility of controllable preparation of a C/(BN) heterojunction single-walled nanotube.

Our work investigates the structural stability of a heterojunction single-walled nanotube by comparing the binding energy. The energy band structure, electronic density of states and regulation relation between band gap and indirect-direct properties and tube diameter and type are systematically studied. Based on existing experimental and theoretical results, dynamic simulated calculating of the stitching process is carried out to explore the feasibility of controllable preparation.

Influence of energy loss function to the Monte Carlo simulated electron backscattering coefficient.

We report an improved calculation of the electron backscattering coefficients (BSCs) for beryllium, molybdenum and tungsten at electron energies of 0.1-100 keV based on an up-to-date Monte Carlo simulation method with different input of energy loss function (ELF) data. The electron inelastic cross-section is derived from the relativistic dielectric functional formalism, where the full Penn's algorithm is applied for the extension of the ELF from the optical limit of [Formula: see text] into the [Formula: see text]-plane.

Adipose specific aptamer adipo-8 recognizes and interacts with APMAP to ameliorates fat deposition in vitro and in vivo.

Aims: To identify the target of an adipose specific aptamer adipo-8, predict the potential interaction between adipo-8 and its target, and investigate lipid-lowering effect of adipo-8 in vitro and in vivo.

Main Methods: Distinct membranous protein of 3T3-L1 adipocyte pulled-down by adipo-8 was mass-spectrometry analyzed as target candidate(s), and affinity of adipo-8 to target protein-silent adipocyte was detected to validate it. Interaction between adipo-8 and target was predicted by bioinformatic analysis, further confirmed by aptamer truncation and competitive binding assay.

[Drinking in male HBV carriers in the outpatient department].
