Background And Objective: Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS) offers a fast, non-invasive, and low-cost alternative for cervical cancer diagnosis. We aim to develop a method for screening precancerous lesions based on DRS.

Material And Methods: Characteristic parameters of cervical tissue were extracted from spectra, including optical characteristic parameters such as absorption and scattering coefficients, and some slope and area parameters of the spectrum.

simultaneous monitoring of blood flow and changes of concentration of oxyhemoglobin (ΔHbO) in brain is a key important method for the research of cerebrovascular disease. In this study, a new monitoring system, combining laser speckle contrast imaging method and spectral analysis method, was proposed, which could be utilized to measure the cerebral blood flow and ΔHbO on mice during traumatic brain injury. The principle of the present system was studied and the hardware platform of the detection system was built.

Background: Ethanol is associated with various medical comorbidities affecting the brain and central nervous system.

Objectives: The use of puerarin in treating alcohol-induced memory disorders is systematically evaluated in this study based upon an analysis of the firing rate and oxygen saturation (SO2).

Material And Methods: A multi-channel data acquisition system and near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) were combined to obtain the electroneurophysiological signals and SO2 in the hippocampus of mice from the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) after ethanol injection.
