Objective: To investigate the diagnostic value of ultrasound for patients with axillary lymph node-negative breast cancer (ALNNBC).
Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 204 breast cancer patients who were admitted by Quanzhou First Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University between October 2020 and May 2022. According to the results of axillary lymph node (ALN) examination, the patients were assigned to a positive group(n=102) and a negative group(n=102).
Background: The cytologic evaluation of serous effusions to distinguish malignant cells from reactive mesothelial cells (RMCs)was an enormous challenge. The purpose of this study was to investigate the diagnostic value of glucose transporter 1 (GLUT1) and calretinin (CR) in serous effusions of patients with malignant and in order to significantly ameliorate the diagnostic accuracy.
Methods: The expressions of GLUT1 and CR were measured by streptavidin-peroxidase (S-P) immunocytochemical technique in serous effusions of 183 patients with malignant and in 95 patients with benign diseases.
Making clear the effects of biochar addition on soil water infiltration process can provide the scientific basis for the evaluation of the influence of biochar application on soil hydrology in semi-arid region. In this paper, through the soil column simulation method in laboratory, the effects of biochar of three sizes (1-2 mm, 0.25-1 mm and ≤ 0.

The aim of this study was to investigate the diagnostic value of monoclonal antibody (MOC-31) and calretinin in pleural fluid of patients with lung cancer to significantly improve the diagnostic accuracy.
Methods: The expressions of MOC-31 and calretinin were detected by means of S-P immunocytochemical technique in pleural effusions of patients with lung cancer (n = 92) and in patients with benign lung disease (n = 70).

Objective: To study the expression of CD40 in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and its relationship with various clinical parameters, pathologic findings and prognostic data.
Methods: The clinical information of 87 patients with DLBCL diagnosed in Jilin Province Cancer Hospital during the period from January, 2008 to october, 2012 was retrospectively reviewed. Immunohistochemical study using SP technique for CD40 was carried out.
Shikonin, a major component of Lithospermum erythrorhizon and Arnebia euchroma, exhibits antiinflammatory, immunomodulatory and antitumour activities. Although many recent studies have focused on the antitumour effects of shikonin, the exact mechanisms underlying its antitumour and immunomodulatory effects in tumour-bearing mice remain unclear. The aim of the present study was to investigate the antitumour and immunomodulatory effects of shikonin derivatives (ShD) in tumour-bearing mice.
