Prevalent characteristics of human papillomavirus infection in 29,508 women in Jinshan District, Shanghai.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the prevalence characteristics of human papillomavirus (HPV) infections in 29,508 female cases in Jinshan District, Shanghai.

Materials And Methods: The current research represents a retrospective study that included 29,508 women who received cervical screening in the Jinshan Branch of Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital from 2010 to 2020. The overall prevalence, distribution types, age-specific prevalence and annual trends were analysed.

Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease-Associated Liver Fibrosis Is Linked with the Severity of Coronary Artery Disease Mediated by Systemic Inflammation.

Methods And Results: We conducted a retrospective study of 531 patients with ultrasonogram-confirmed NAFLD who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Then, all patients were separated into four categories by Gensini score (0, 0-9, 9-48, and ≥48) for use in ordinal logistic regression analysis to determine whether NAFLD fibrosis was associated with increased Gensini scores. Mediation analysis was used to investigate whether systemic inflammation is a mediating factor in the association between NAFLD fibrosis and CAD severity.

Ovarian endometriosis: risk factor analysis and prediction of malignant transformation.

Introduction: For the prediction of endometriosis associated ovarian carcinoma (EAOC), the risk factors for malignant ovarian endometriosis (MOE) were explored.

Material And Methods: A group of 104 EAOC patients was compared with a group of 104 ovarian endometrial cyst patients. Using single and multivariate risk analysis of EAOC by calculating the area under the curve (AUC) of receiver-operator characteristics (ROC) curves, risks of MOE transformation were calculated for various burdens of risk factors.
